The place is not convenient to visit your love ones. The doors are always lock from both sides. It takes a very long time to find a staff to come open the door for you to get in and out. The place is old, dirty, and smells very bad; we had to move our mom out. The manager is mean and some of the PCA are not nice. They are also not responsive. Please do not take your loved ones there.

Every time I visit my brother the staff have been very nice. He has been living there for over 3 years and is very happy. He said the food is very good They keep his room clean.

If Peaceful Lodge were closer to my home in St Paul, I would have signed up my friend. He and I have been looking for an assisted living place and find friends -- to watch football, play cribbage and share stories. Peaceful Lodge was bright and spacious with many comfortable community settings, large and small. There was even a warm fireplace in the entrance hall. Staff were all friendly and gracious.<br>Best of all, more than most places we've visited, the residents seemed happy! They made eye contact, smiled and nodded as we passed by, and responded if we stopped to chat. My friend would have found new friends -- but it was a bit farther than I wanted to drive for my own visiting.<br>Peaceful Lodge is an attractive option for Easter Metro families needing a good spot to house a loved one needing more help than they can provide themselves. Highly recommended.

Rude reception, pendants go off for a very long time, and the facility smells. I think they opened to make a quick buck off of desperate families. They don't operate with passion or care.

No, no, no! So many red flags. Soiled briefs are left in resident's room until the end of shift, leaving rooms to stink of urine. Meds are left at tableside, begging for a med error. Residents are left in urine soaked briefs, and I don't believe it's because staff doesn't care; I really think it's because irrespective of cares, only one aid per group is assigned. It isn't enough in some cases. Operates like a business, not like an Assisted Living. So, expect them to be really good at taking money and horrible at assisting those under their charge. If your loved one has a fall, could be 15-20 minutes before anyone is available to come and assist. You'd be better off getting home care through the county.
