If you need rehab a very beautiful setting and well run place.

The facility is very short-staffed. My Mom had hip surgery. The next day, she was sent to Newbridge for Rehab (Wednesday, early afternoon). Intake was done on Friday morning. Also, my Mom needed two people to help her get out of bed to use the commode. The staff (PCAs & nurse) refused to help my Mom get out of bed. The staff put an adult diaper on my Mom and placed a towel between her legs. They didn't even bother to use a commercially available catheter like PureWick. On Wednesday night, after my Mom had peed in the bed, a PCA told me I had to leave the room, otherwise she would not change my Mom / clean her up. She also yelled at my Mom to get up. (Mom couldn't get up on her own...) While I was standing outside of her room, I heard my Mom screaming in pain. I can't assess the physical/ occupational therapy as my Mom is no longer (and won't be returning) to Newbridge. UPDATE - The staff DID NOT ATTEMPT to contact me.

Beautiful building, super staff, awesome audience! We were honored to return to the Hebrew Senior Living New Bridge on the Charles Assisted Living facility with our 7/23/25 one hour Musical Ventriloquist Comedy Senior show. Hanukkah Howie was our featured entertainer singing the 1961 Ben E. King hit "Soul Man". Chelsea The Chimpanzee and I performed the Lady Gaga and Sting rendition of "Stand By Me" because I stand by my puppets who do all the work. Special thanks to Irina and Bonnie in Activities and a sincere thank you to the residents Steve and Linda who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMIES, wear our male and female ventriloquist face masks, and help us sing our original "No Bully Zone". No, they did not sing together at the same time, we're not that good!

Well run, positive aging experience with progressive health options. Wish there were more family oriented opportunities and events. Visiting my mom for a meal, for example, can be challenging because you can't just join for the normal restaurant you have to be secluded into this family meal buffet area which has more of a cafeteria quality than a home quality. Let the families join the residents in the main dining room please!
