Sunrise of Braintree is a beautiful facility that offers comprehensive care and compassionate community for its residents. But I want to start my review with my impression of the staff, the people who make the community what it is. First, I met with the Assistant Director of Sales, Devin, for information about the community and for a tour of the facility. Devin was an amazing host and guide. She was my first impression of the community (besides the beautiful building and grounds) and I couldn’t have felt more welcomed and listened to. Devin started by learning about me and the person I’m helping to find residency. She listened carefully and asked thoughtful questions. She was incredibly comprehensive in addressing my questions but there was never a moment where I felt overwhelmed with too much information; she always kept the conversation grounded around my situation. A side note but maybe the biggest thing that impressed me, was that Devin knew by name EVERY resident we encountered (she even knew the names of the pets we came across). You could tell residents weren’t just people living there, but valued members of a community. I also saw throughout the building pockets of residents and staff engaging each other, whether eating together, playing games, talking, or just enjoying the beautiful day. It genuinely felt like a community. Finally, the building and grounds were beautiful without being garish. It felt like a home. It’s not something that’s easy to put to words, but you know it when you see it. Each apartment felt tailored for maximum space and safety while feeling manageable and inviting. I encourage anyone looking for a community for their loved one to meet with Devin and experience Sunrise Braintree firsthand.

Sunrise of Braintree was such a wonderful assisted living community for my mother in law. When her health declined, the staff took exceptional care of her. The residence is beautiful, the dining room is lovely, and the activities are endless. Every time we visited, we were greeted by the warmest staff (and sometimes their pets!). We are so very grateful for the care our loved one received at Sunrise of Braintree.

My mom was at Sunrise of Braintree for a little over a year. She was in assisted living then moved to memory care. Walking in the door you are always greeted by a friendly welcome from the front desk coordinator. The staff are warm and respectful. They make a great effort to keep residents engaged and social. I will always be appreciative of the care they gave her. Patty G.

I did community service at this senior living room and it was a great experience. The workers were very kind and took care of the seniors with love. There were always activities to keep the seniors busy, and they were encouraged to exercise and stay active. I loved how they celebrated Valentine’s Day to remind the seniors that love is still here. A week later, they had a “Wicked Social” where everyone dressed in pink and green, and the room was nicely decorated. It was clear that they wanted the seniors to feel happy and special.

We needed respite for my sister who has frontal lobe dementia. She needed memory care. From the day we brought her, everyone has been kind, respectful and just delightful. Before we got in the door, we were met by a lovely woman, saying “Is this my new friend? She’s going to be very comfortable with us”. She runs the activities and is amazing. The woman who cares for her most of the time has a peace about her. My sister can be very negative, but she allows this lovely woman to do what needs doing. She even calls my sister Mama, which I find endearing. The people who cook, clean, serve food and other jobs are also delightful. I’d have no worries about Sunrise. It’s a lovely place.
