Around 12:30am on 3/27/26 I was making a delivery to this place, I called the hospital to reach out security, there was two security officers and both refused to leave their chair to open the receiving door to let me in, they were too lazy and made me come through the main entrance go in the hospital and open the door myself. I believe after hours it is the security job to send someone to open the receiving door for the delivery drivers, this is unacceptable.

It’s true that the employees make the place shine! I had a good experience with staff member Debra Friday on the 2nd flr. She was friendly and welcoming. Debra smiled while looking up the patient’s name, then gave me the info I needed. She was helpful and shined with niceness! Thanks Debra 🙂 - you’re AWESOME!

A few years ago, when my mother was here, the experience was dreadful. Pressing the call button often yielded no response, and sometimes, the hallways were devoid of nurses. Despite my mother's battle with cancer and intense pain, medication was frequently delayed. On one occasion, desperate for assistance, we helped her move to a chair ourselves. When a nurse finally appeared an hour later, she berated us for taking that step. The lack of responsiveness and rudeness were disheartening, leading me to vow never to return or recommend such a place, even to my worst enemy. Attempts to communicate with the hospital CEO were met with silence, emphasizing the apparent lack of concern. It saddens me that individuals choosing to be nurses seem unwilling to fulfill the very purpose for which they are there.

Not a good experience. I went there after having back surgery. There were a few good nurses and the PT and OT people were good, but many of the nursing assistants...and especially the ones on duty overnight...were horrible and rude. One actually locked the head of my bed so I couldn't lower it and hid my call button while I was watching. I asked her to give it to me and she said "Stop being such an invalid and get it yourself." This is inexcusable. Several times I had to ask for a supervisor and then things would happen. Otherwise, I was often waiting for a LONG time for whatever I needed. I also met 3 times with the head of nursing and he ensured me he would take care of things and then things still did not get fixed. I wound up leaving 3 days early because I was emotionally distraught over the way the staff there treated me. The rudeness was uncalled for. Also, it seems that they think that older people are dumb, invisible, and don't have any validity when they speak up. I highly recommend finding another place. I will never go back to this facility. Update 9/20/2022 I did send my contact information to Hebrew Rehabilitation Center and no one has contacted me. This is not a surprise. They act as though they are concerned when they get negative feedback and then do nothing about it.

I absolutely do not recommend this facility. Unfortunately, there is no ranking lower than one star available. When I arrived a previous patient's toiletries were left in the bathroom and things went down hill from there. There were mice running down the hallway and in my room and the rooms of other patients. Nothing was done about it. The nursing supervisor, Frances, assured me that he would take care of my concerns of which there were many. He did not. Medications were not given to me on time. The orders I came with from the doctors at the hospital were not followed even after I brought it to the attention of the nurses numerous times. The clinical coordinator, Ellen Gorden, was rude and hung up on us when we tried to get information and help for our elderly parent. We are positive that our parent would not have survived Covid, which our parent contracted there. After our questions were not answered and several calls were not returned we contacted 911 ourselves and had our parent transferred immediately to the hospital. Fortunately, our parent received oxygen and treatment for Covid and began to improve. There are many, many other things that occurred during my stay - however I think I have written enough for you to get the picture. There was one very good substitute nurse from Newbridge, a decent PT and OT, and a couple of decent nurses aides.
