I have a family member that had a stroke effecting all her left side and is at Neurorestorative in Tyler, Texas. Folks, this is the place for your loved ones! I have visited my cousin numerous times and every time I go ALL staff are so very kind, smiling, upbeat, genuinely care, professional and compassionate. The facilities are always clean, meals always served on time and encourage family to visit often. You always see therapists working with the residents (hate to call them patients)and I've noticed all residents are clean and hygiene maintained. I've wondered several times, how in the world do you find this many top-notch compassionate people providing the quality care they give at Neuro Restorative. Sherry Jewkes-Larsen, my bestie for over 30 years, has gotten the best care ever at Tyler Neuro Restorative. People there are always so nice and willing to help in any way possible...from the office staff to the nurses, therapist and housekeeping. Thank you all for giving Sherry the best care possible.

Had dealings with the clinical staff on an inpatient referral who got exceptional Care, and a patient received a good outcome once they discharged home. The rehab department is top-notch as they specialize in brain injury from stroke. Highly recommended!

Ok ,this is gonna be a long one! If you are in need of your loved one being in a nursing home setting with a brain injury, or stroke maybe this place would be good for you. My husband came to this place a little over two weeks ago. My husband fell 32 feet from a scissor lift at work and he's broken c4. He has been to a few facilities already and we were sent here bc where we were ,was wonderful but my husband had already been there over 75 days ..when we came here we were under the impression that the staff had worked with spinal cord injuries and we're knowledgeable and we would be happy here 🤨 HECK NO. This place is a joke guys , there are only a few I will name that were absolutely there for Steven when we were there. What I don't understand is how a place can accept a patient where they haven't had but maybe one or two spinal cord patients in a yr. Crissey ,the case manager is so wonderful, I am a wife and she was there to talk and listen ,give me tissues when I was crying,and listened to every complaint I had and was very adamant on making sure things were handled to the best of her ability. I won't go into detail and tear this place apart like I did yesterday to everyone there. BUT I'm gonna state this: This place isn't knowledgeable about spinal cord injuries PLEASE don't send your loved one here for that. Some of the techs there are very ghetto and not professional. The staff is always on their phones. The place ,they keep it clean for the most part, but you can definitely tell this place doesn't have cleaning ladies. They clean what they want here and how they want. The "therapy " they give 😆🤔 a joke. Steven never even felt like he was getting a workout. My husband is a go-getter and doesn't want to sit around, he wants to live life and try his best to gain back whatever nerves and muscles he can have a productive life. And is used to a therapy session where he felt like he was really making a difference, they don't do that there . Had a tech break my husband's phone connector to his bed/ Power chair and all she could say is I'm sorry I have a heavy hand. One tech dropped my husband's leg down on his chair and all she could say was " that's gonna leave a bruise" just clearly not being careful or gentle and that's unacceptable. He has a huge bruise on his foot now, these are things my husband was taught to be careful about and they have total disregard of the patients. I'll stop here I could go on but I won't...just don't send your loved one here and expect ALL the staff to be the way they're supposed to be. You also have nurses here that say things you should never say to a paraplegic which outraged me..I also want to thank Brittany ,Ms Charlotte, Adriana,.... Zakayah your the best girlfriend this girl here y'all is what it is all about this little woman always laughed with us and always helped Steven with whatever he needed and made sure he was taken care of. Props to her , Grace , sweetheart she looked scared of me lol ...I'll stop here

Our family will always be Thankful to NeuroRestorative and highly recommend this place. My uncle and I have always been close and I am his care taker. After his stroke this Summer, NeuroRestorative Tyler helped turn my uncle's life around. He stayed at there facility for over 3 months and now he is back home and able to take care of himself. We are grateful for all of the therapy, counseling, and support that was provided. The compassionate staff goes above and beyond. When I had questions they had answers.
