We have had four family members at this facility over the last five years. The leadership and staff at this facility provided us with the needed care and support for our loved ones during some very difficult times. While nothing is ever perfect, we were pleased overall and have a lot of confidence in the Primrose Tyler team. It can be a very challenging job but they do their job with care, dignity and respect for the residents. Thanks for all you have done for our loved ones.

I can’t say enough good things about this nursing home. The staff is absolutely wonderful — caring, patient, attentive, and genuinely compassionate toward every resident. From the nurses to the aides and office staff, everyone goes above and beyond to make families feel comfortable and loved ones feel safe and cared for. The environment is clean, welcoming, and full of positivity. You can truly tell the staff takes pride in what they do and treats residents like family.

Please do not leave your loved ones here if you truly care about them. My nana and grandfather were at this facility almost 2 years. My nana had a fall and an ambulance was called however they never called us. Once she had received care at the hospital and stitches, she waited for 12 hours because no one had been notified she had been ever left the facility. She also suffered from severe dementia and did not have her phone on her. This happened a second time for a bad upper respiratory infection and again we were never notified. Fast forward to this weekend. My grandfather was not feeling well. He pressed the emergency button when he began to have chest pain. He then waited over an HOUR to receive any help from staff. An ambulance was called and again the only way we knew he went to the hospital was notification messages from UT Health of Tyler. Again, prices are high, over $6,000 a month for NEGLIGENT care. Please consider a different location for your loved ones during their time of need.
