I am forever profoundly grateful for the unwavering care and compassion my father received at Saint Albans this fall. From the moment we arrived and met the staff, we sensed that Dad would be safe and lovingly cared for. I slept peacefully that night! I am deeply indebted to their staff for the compassion and care I personally received from the entire team at Saint Albans, especially the medical, recreation, and housekeeping teams. And they worked seamlessly with VNS Hospice! Having been a caregiver for my father for the past eight years, I can say without hesitation that the care he received from the Saint Albans team and family exceeded all expectations and was above and beyond the care he received elsewhere. This unparalleled care was especially true in his final days when the level of care, compassion, and concern were especially meaningful. This was a comfort that will forever help to sustain me. Our every visit began with a smile because of the warm and genuine welcome we received from the Front Desk Security team. The team didn’t just treat my father but also saw how much I loved him. They took the time to meet him and chat with him, to honor the bond we have, and to treat him with dignity and respect. Dad thrived under their care and I am grateful for the time their loving care extended his life. I truly believe that these exceptional staffers are their greatest asset, and they work to make Saint Albans a wonderful home for Veterans and their spouses as they age.
