As an 87 year old who has lived at Monarch for about 4 years, I do not hesitate to say that I am SO GLAD I live here. The grounds are beautiful - the atmosphere is overwhelmingly positive, friendly and community-minded - there is an amazing ever-changing set of activities for both spry and less-spry folks - the dining is terrific, the administration is communicative - there are so many services provided on site - and they have great community-wide celebration events!

Monarch Landing has been my home for 17 years. One thing that is very positive for me is dining. The meals served in the Millstone Restaurant and in the Riverwalk Cafe are truly delicious. From soups and salads to fish and steaks, I do not need to shop or cook.

I can't think of a better place to wake up in the morning than at Monarch Landing. Every day has opportunities for enjoying life. With complete independence I can fill my days with whatever I choose, whether it be on my own or with a group. In addition to the cultural, educational, and social activities, we residents can take pride in our fitness programs and our on-campus medical facilities. We even have indoor parking. Monarch Landing has it all.

Living at Monarch Landing is like living at the finest all-inclusive resort. There are no unexpected expenses. Excellent dining choices are included in the monthly fee as are utilities and maintenance. The activities are many and varied. The staff is outstanding. They are kind, helpful and very caring.

When we were looking at Monarch Landing we asked residents what their biggest regret was about moving here. Almost everyone said, “We should have moved in sooner!”

As Monarch Landing approaches its 20th anniversary this month, I look forward to two 20th anniversaries of my own. In September we will have been here 20 happy years. Along with another couple and the help of the staff, we began a Duplicate bridge group in January. We are always looking for new members, so please join us! We now meet twice a week!
