Staff members do their best to accommodate our resident. Despite my ongoing concerns about the current extreme Trump republicans attempts to divide and eliminate care for the less fortunate.

This is my personal opinion based on my own experience. My father currently resides at this facility. While it’s never easy having a loved one in a nursing home, I do believe he is in a generally safe and caring environment — or at least that is my hope and prayer. Caring for elderly residents is a huge responsibility, and I understand that things can happen. One evening, my father called me in a state I had never seen or heard from him before. I could hear staff members in the background trying to assist him. As his daughter, hearing him like that over the phone was extremely upsetting. I want to acknowledge the staff on duty that night — they were wonderful. They reassured me that he was okay and worked with me to calm him down. In that moment, everyone seemed focused on defusing the situation, and I was grateful for that teamwork. Later, when I called back to follow up, the experience unfortunately became frustrating. I was transferred to someone named Felicia (not sure if that’s her real name). She was unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to provide even basic reassurance about my father’s well-being. As his daughter, I wasn’t asking for private medical details — I just wanted to know if he was safe. Her tone felt unnecessarily rude and made the situation more stressful. Thankfully, Felicia transferred me to her supervisor, and that completely changed the tone of the conversation. The supervisor, “CC,” was professional, understanding, and kind — not just nice, but kind. She gave me the appropriate contact information and explained what information could and couldn’t be shared. She handled the situation with empathy and respect, balancing the family’s concern with the facility’s responsibility to protect residents’ privacy. Overall, while there are areas where communication could improve, I appreciate the staff who truly care about the residents and families. Moments like these remind me how important compassion and professionalism are in elder care.

Seriously! Horrible and heartless to be sending the heartbroken families a text, asking for literally the "deceased" person to leave a review, a month after they died at your facility. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!

I moved my mother here in December 2021 after a brief stay in the Boston area. I have been incredibly impressed from my first interactions with Nicole in Admissions (and throughout the admissions process) to my tour with Kyle where it was clear that there is a good, positive energy to this facility (staff was smiling and seemed happy to be there – a great feat, in my opinion, considering all that healthcare workers have been through in the past few years). I continue to be impressed by all of the receptionists, nurses, activity staff, social workers, business manager, etc. Everyone is so on the ball and willing to help..and quickly, when needed. I would highly recommend MissionCare to anyone looking for a safe, positive environment for their loved one.
