Beautiful facility but our Mother made no improvement being there! When her 20 days of Medicare coverage was over she was miraculously ready to go home. She couldn’t stand on her own or go to the bathroom by herself. The nurse, caseworker and physical therapist all said she was ready to go home. When a VNA came to her home to check on her she was shocked they sent her home. Very disappointed!

The staff made a difficult time for Me feel a whole lot better. Very understanding and compassionate, which is hard to find these days. From nursing to support staff and kitchen staff , made sure my accommodations were met. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs aftercare from surgery

I go to Mary's Meadow quite frequently. And when I asked upon where I could find Maria the quality of life coordinator\activity, Director, the young lady who helped everyone and heard every resident and there needs. Maria was helping out in jobs when needed. The heart of Trinity award winner. I was told she was no long employed here and made it see as if she chose a different path. Once I asked around and spoke with resents and staff and of course Maria, it is within great shame on Trinity for letting go of the Central nervous system facility. Young lady together, all by herself with a smile on her face in the love and joy in her eyes, you could see when she touched the residence the compassion she could see into their soul. Knowing every detail about all of her residence, everything they dislike. Allergies anytime her and I will go shopping, always thinking of the resident and what she could get them with their food capabilities. I am disgusted with the way they terminated her, and in my opinion, it was wrong termination. Maria activity program with her eyes closed incorporating everything the resident love to do and how to go about engaging and getting them involved and having them there in present and like-minded with each other. Maria is the most kind and gentle young lady. I've come across and that facility and in healthcare. By losing her, you have done Marys Medow very LARGE disservice. Resident LOVED her participated with her and genuinely enjoyed her and the love they had for her. You could only hope to get her back. I continue to keep my eyes and ears open when I come in to visit my family member. I have spoken to several other families and it's upsetting to everyone. I have noticed over the last year and a half since they got this new administrator Tom Accamondo. Place was flourishing an amazing team playing there. Everyone got along the atmosphere and five was always happy. He seems more concerned about doing everybody else's jobs and creating animosity within the facility. Since Tom has been there, he has made the facility extremely hostile, toxic, in an unhealthy environment. I can pick up on the second walk in. What they really need to do is get him out of there and Maria back. She was the heart and soul and drove that place with positivity and love. And not fake love. You could feel it in her soul. Hopefully other things I have heard aren't true but I hope meds are being checked correctly and reagents are properly put into bed. I have noticed residents don't and aren't participating in the activity programs at all. There is no full time director there which is not in compliance of the state law and has been since they wrongly let Maria go. This is a law! I could go on for days of lists of things I have witnessed on my own about the gruffness of parents and speaking rude like there animals. Feeding so fast they can't hardly digest. No changes every 2 hours. Please look somewhere else. Unless they get this place back how it was with the proper employment. Bring back Maria she is the central nervous system to that whole facility. You've cut the nervous system and nothing's gonna go right. As far as your activities department, you need her, she was the queen everybody loved her. She knew them inside out and upside down and what they needed every moment they needed it. There were before the resident realized they needed. The resident with her.

Beautiful facility! Care was exceptional for my mom to recover after hospitalization. Staff were always kind, caring, friendly and responsive. Mom liked the food very much. Social worker was excellent with discharge planning and referrals for community sources were were unfamiliar to us. This facility is very sought after and rightfully so. We were lucky to have my mom transferred so quickly.

I am an RN/case manager with Brookhaven Hospice and want to acknowledge the staff at Mary's Meadow. The entire staff provided exceptional care for our patient. From the aides and nurses to the housekeeping staff, nothing was overlooked. The collaboration was excellent, and I hope to work together again in the future. 10/10 would recommend this facility!
