I will tell you my experience concerning my husband being at Midlands. My husband has dementia & I was his caretaker for many years until one day he told me he had a headache and within 24 hours he was in JE Hospital. When he was able to be discharged from the hospital, the Social Service workers at the hospital asked me where my husband was going when he was discharged. I said he’s going home. I failed to realize that he was now unable to walk, which meant that I was unable to take care of him at home. I fought the idea of admitting my husband to a nursing home, but finally consented for him to admit to Midlands. That was one of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made in my life. If you are in a situation that requires one of your loved ones to be in a nursing facility, I highly recommend Midlands. They have the most caring & loving employees from the cleaning individuals, the kitchen individuals, CNAs, nurses all the way to the administrator. You will never find a better facility. I highly recommend MIDLANDS LIVING CENTER!!!!

We had a friend that had rehab here and the family was very pleased with the service. Terry went in and met with a lady in charge (I can't think of her name or position), he was looking at transferring his dad from NE. to here. She didn't seem to care, didn't ask questions and wasn't helpful. Maybe she had a bad day, but when you are looking for a place for your loved one who is vulnerable, it is helpful to be kind, helpful and attentive
