My dad lived here during the advanced stage of his PSP, and it was the best decision we could have made. Shout out to Monique and the staff for the incredible care they provided and for integrating us into their living community!

The assisted living facilities in question are poorly managed, with little regard for resident safety and care. Staff members often lack proper training or certification, leading to frequent negligence. Medication errors are common, and families are not informed of mistakes. Residents have suffered injuries due to inadequate attention, and staffing levels are insufficient for those requiring two-person assistance.

When I was trying to find a place for my husband with Lewy Body Dementia regular nursing homes would not accept him because of the anger outbursts that go along with LBD. A social worker from Toledo Hospital was helping me. She said she had not heard of Memory Lane Assisted Living, but to look into it. The first sentence was We Accept Lewy Body Dementia residents. My daughter and I made an appointment with Joanna to visit the Carpenter Road home. I paid her that day and we moved my husband in. I’ve never worried about His care. Joanna took it upon herself to study LBD and teach the staff. It truly is a loving, caring community. The doctor for the home is a Geriatric Psychiatrist and the Nurse Practitioner is always ready to answer questions or give suggestions. Joanna has formed this wonderful family that works together to have a home filled with love. I thank GOD everyday for bringing us to Memory Lane. We have been there for almost a year and feel so Blessed.

My father lives at the Memory Lane Carpenter House. He has Lewey Body Dementia. This type of dementia takes special training and extra love. Joanna, the owner, is simply amazing! She hires top notch staff and trains them extremely well. She also does extra special things for her staff like a summer party, celebrations of birthdays, and is extremely supportive. I am a speech-language pathologist and am extremely picky about the care of my Father! The house is kept clean. The residents are constantly being cared for with dignity and LOVE. They have a variety of activities and outings. The food is healthy and cooked in the kitchen and residents are welcome to help out. My Dad loved barbecuing last summer. As his disease has progressed, the staff have been extremely supportive in helping us make decisions for his best care. I have worked in many skilled nursing facilities. They don’t hold a candle to what Memory Lane Carpenter House has to offer.
