For the most part, the aides they have, which are who the residents have most contact, are kind and careful. Some, though, have bad attitudes. I think in general, they need more of them for sure. That would help a lot. One resident can't get help to wash her hands, daily, even though she asks. MOST residents are well cared for from what I've seen.

The food looks and smells delicious! Nice variety too.

Activity room is well stocked with fun stuff, but not sure there's anyone who can help individuals get stuff they may want to use on a daily basis. Having said that, they have lots of fun planned activities and I have seen staff turn a band's cancellation into a fun filled night of karaoke! Impressive way to save the day!

Residents are pretty content with only consistent complaints I've heard is that every one has to go back to their own rooms to use bathrooms. It's usually a long way to go for them. But it's for the sake of hygiene.

I can't speak to doctors visits. Nursing staff seems pretty good, although there's some inconsistencies. And with the exception of the few aforementioned aides, the entire building is filled with friendly workers willing to share a smile, kind word or hello to the residents (and visitors).

If I were able to have a single room, of the nursing homes I've witnessed (none as in depth, but 5 or 6 others), this is the one I'd choose to be at, at this point in time.
