My dad was moved here after a stroke. During his ENTIRE stay (about 10 days) we were unable to reach anyone for an update on his progress. I drove 2 hours to see someone face to face and was given his room number. Walked to his room and he wasn't in his room. I was told he may be in physical therapy and to wait. So, we waited. Turns out, he was discharged the night before. We were never in any contact with one person from Lydon Crossing aside from the pre-registion phone call. Side note: it smelled like a dog kennel- heavy with urine and feces. Lots of people laying around the common areas unattended and slumped over like they couldnt get up on their own. It was very sad and I would absolutely never allow any family member or loved one to be cared for here.

I would not trust them to take care of a goldfish. Would give NEGATIVE stars if i could. Absolutely disgusting, atrocious, horrible, hell-on-earth, unhygienic, poor excuse for a care facility. The place reeks of urine. Staff who come off as ignorant, rude untrained, and lazy. There was maybe a rare good 1 or 2 in the whole facility but the good ones are overworked because of staffing issues… the 99% who aren’t caring at all makes you feel afraid to even ask for assistance/speak up for your loved one (for fear of retaliation). I’m only leaving this review now for that very reason, now that my loved one is gone, I feel free to speak my opinions and share my views. Management and leaders who seem to ignore you when you try “go up the ladder” to improve the situation. My family member developed a SEVERE bedsore that I feel could have been preventable with proper turning care. There was a time she had been double-diapered seemingly because they didn’t want to have to deal with changing her as often or dealing with the mess?! She was left her in uncomfortable positions for hours on end (she was paralyzed and could not move herself). Often I would come back the next day to find her in the same position or slumped over sideways. She could not speak or advocate for herself. They skipped bathing her. They left her in dirty clothing (they promised in the beginning she would be changed daily). She was so dirty, the smell from her was repulsive, horrible, sour. There were many times I would visit and she would have food on her face, crusted around her mouth and dripped down her neck. She got little sores in the corner of her mouth because of food left and not wiped away. Her scalp was flaky and dirty and dry. Her hair became matted... ... I was constantly worried for my loved one's level of care. These are my opinions over a 6-month experience so please, PLEASE, do not send your loved one here. Anywhere but here.

If I could 0 stars it I would ! Don't put your loved ones here unless u want them to die ! My grandpa went to the ICU for septic shock and was covered in his own feces and urine , APS report filed! He was septic from uti and pneumonia which also caused his kidneys to fail and now we are preparing to loose him in 2 to 3 days ! He ALSO had baseball sized wounds and bruises all over his body ! Please don't put your loved ones here !

My boyfriend had a stroke and was taken there for rehab this place needs shut down. When we arrive the room was not set up it was filthy the whole place smelled of urine and feces no working TV The call light was trapped underneath the bed around the bed frame after we was settled no one would answer his call light All the aids and nurses there act like they hate their jobs. He laid in his own feces for 2 to 3 hours he called me and I went out there and changed him myself which I've had to do several times.he was there for a little over a week and we had him moved to a different facility this place is terrible it's so sad to watch so many people getting neglected. This place isn't fit for a dog let alone a human. I can't even give this place one star.
