Beautiful Step down Community, including Memory Care in Westlake. Staff and helpers are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was people oriented, creating a sense of home. Grounds are gorgeous.

Staff used to be wonderful years ago.<br><br>Within the last year, year and a half, they are neglectful, except for when family complains.<br><br>Then they manipulate your family member against you!<br><br>(I will gladly name drop names after my family is removed and their disgusting lies can no longer get to them. Thanks for wasting what precious time we have left with them by turning family against family. Maybe grow up and do your JOB?) THIS WAS JUST CONFIRMED TO ME BY FAMILY. I COMPLAINED TO THE WORKER AND THEY WENT TO TATTLE ON MY FAMILY MEMBER IN RESIDENCE. I STAND BEYOND FIRM IN EVEYTHING I HAVE SAID HERE.<br><br>How disgusting and disappointing to know that these are the ridiculous people paid to take care of our loved ones.<br><br>My loved one has declined so badly in their care this last year, I am appalled, and shall be reporting said workers post move.<br><br>And yes, my family member is moving, just not fast enough.<br><br>They also do not care about hygiene for residents, nor do they monitor they blood sugar as they should.<br><br>Do not be fooled by the shiny new they have redone. They cannot keep dedicated staff, or staff who actually care about their residents.

My mother spent two weeks in rehab, but because of space constraints, she was in the long-term care unit. Even before she arrived from the hospital, the staff took steps to make sure her stay was a good one. They asked about her daily routine and tried to accommodate it as best as possible. The care team was friendly and responsive to her as well as the family. And even the admin staff would check in and help if they happened to be there. I saw this multiple times in her stay. They truly listened to her and us as needs arose. If she needs LTC down the road, Concord will be at the top of our list.
