The staff is wonderful at LifeCare of Westlake. The staff back in the memory care unit is even more amazing! They go out if their way to help the residents. This place definitely needs some cosmetic updates but it doesn't hinder the dedication and care they give the patients.

I went there to visit a good friend since elementary school. The receptionist and nurses were very friendly. His room had 3 beds, all of which were occupied, so it was pretty close quarters. This was in the dementia wing. I must say it was a little depressing. I didn't stay to see what they were having for lunch.

Workers seem very nice and helpful. Kimmi is happy and content to stay there, and willing to come back, when taken out for a few hours. Food tray could be improved. A cheeseburger with no condiments. She ordered a quesadilla. Desserts could be better. A half bowl of chopped pears ? A strawberry shortcake or piece of cake would be more exciting .

I firmly believe that Life Care is the best rehab and long term nursing facility i have dealt with. The director and administrative staff are compassionate, hard-workers. The director is amazingly compassionate and hands-on. They are not money oriented. I would trust them to have my back as i do theirs.
