I have family here and there constantly being told she's not allowed on outings. Even though she is legally allowed to leave. Takes forever to get an aid to answer her light be it under staffed or lazy staff when they do answer it's usually bare minimum while acting like it's so hard to do

My mom was well taking care of while at Long Medow. The staff treated her with respect and was patient with her, all the way down to the ones who clean her room. Well deserved 5 star rating!!!

I am currently a resident here at Longmeadow. I DO NOT RECCOMEND this facility to ANYONE. No one know what the others are doing. I went 12 hours without being changed on multiple times. The Aministrator IS hands on. Which i like. The DON all she does is come in your room and bark at you. There is no communication between every team. The night aids are Lazy. They don't check on you. The day shift aids are way over worked. Today I had a nurse who was my aide. She told night shift I refused care. Never ONCE did she ask if I needed changedjust because I had my blankets over my head. I do that when I have a mental day. But as an RN she should have done more. My most favorite aid left because of the low staff an no help from anyone else. There are a few nurses that really care. I have 5 compression fractures. I went to see a surgeon in September of last year. She asked that 3 tests be done before returning. The xray was done but the other two test still have not been done. I've never felt a a human in this place. Just a dog and being kicked around. I do have ymto say respiratory therapy has got their act together. The DON told Mr they were not taking me to anymore appointments until I lose weight. That is prejudice. Internally. If she ever stopped to get to know me, I am defective, I am left handed and had I been born right handed I would have died or lived as a special needs kid in a wheelchair. They have lost the 3 beat nurses they had and the 4 best aids left as well. There should number 2 aids for each hall but they only have 1 aid for 2 halls. I understand the job and it's hard but being that short staffed they should be fined. There should be a nurse for each hall the nurses are covering 2 halls. So their time is only used for passing out ned. This one blew my mind and you can do the research yourself. I yold them I needed a therapist. I have PTSD. They do have a counselor but I need more. The DONand the social worker said that they are BOTH the same. When that councilor came back she said she was a therapist. So I asked for her business card. She said she would come back the next time with one. When she came I asked and conveniently she ran out. If you read their website. It says the have a Xhef and serve gourmet meals. In those words are all fruits come from a can as well as soups. The ones cooking do not know how to use spices. I became a vegetarian 2 months ago and they said that they don't have to conform to my dietary changes. I have not been given ptotien in 2 months now and they way over cooked the vegetables. So I don't eat them. Their dinner salad is lettuce with 2 pieces of slivered carrots. If you have any questions you can contact me at using my last name Parr. My grandmother was neglected several times. She was left in soiled pull ups and clothes that gave her repeat UTI’s. They were not checking on her appropriately for a memory care ward. This is a vulnerable population that needs protection especially those who have dementia and Alzheimer’s. They need dignity as for most this is their final home. The administration is aggressive if a problem arrives and quick to try to cover it up. When it is discovered they create a plan of correction which does not get followed. The following pictures are of the some items she was actively using with stains. Her bed didn’t even have a sheet on it. It was just 2 blankets. They did not give her a shower in 2 weeks (that was confirmed by an inside source. No one called me to help or advised me this was happening. My grandmother did not have any pants that fit her despite purchasing multiple pairs last fall. She is missing a lot of items. The administration refused to provide me my grandmothers medical information, medication, personal documents, and are mailing me my grandmothers money in a couple weeks. They are willing to provide compensation for items they can’t find but still! They lost all of her pants, every single pair. If I could I would give this place a negative star rating. I hope all the residents are safe and taken care of like they should be. I can’t imagine having dementia and being ignored in a room.

I cannot speak high enough of how this facility is has assisted and giving my brother a new outlook on life. After investigating several long term care facilities in the area, i chose Embassy Longmeadow, and I could not be more happier with my choice. My brother left a facility that had no desire to try and improving his quality of life, who had it put him on hospice after having just been paralyzed from the waist down. Embassy long meadow has focused on getting him into a wheelchair, where he actively participates and daily activities. Again, I cannot say enough regarding the staff and their attention to the residence there. I would recommend them hands down versus the other facilities that I have been involved with or researched
