I recently had the opportunity to tour Life Care Center of Stoneham, and I was truly impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked through the door. Jo-Ann took the time to personally show me around, introduce me to staff and residents, and answer my questions. It was clear how much pride the team takes in providing compassionate care and creating a positive environment. Everywhere I went, I saw friendly staff, smiling residents, and a clean, well-maintained facility. You can tell that the people who work here genuinely care about the residents and treat them with kindness and respect. It was a pleasure to learn more about everything Life Care Center of Stoneham has to offer. Thank you to Jo-Ann and the entire team for your hospitality. I would highly recommend Life Care Center of Stoneham to anyone looking for a caring and welcoming rehabilitation or skilled nursing community.

The team, led by Lianne, had a meaningful impact on my dad’s time there and his ultimate recovery / return back to his assisted-living facility. They made every effort to communicate with status updates (since my family is in multiple cities). They pushed to get my dad to join physical therapy (many residents tend to resist this type of therapy, which can certainly prevent them from returning to their baseline). And importantly, they made recommendations to us for things that we could do to improve my dad’s quality of life upon his departure from the facility. We greatly appreciate the team’s help during a challenging period.

Besides giving my father having a pleasant life at Life Care when he was a resident, mom is now getting a second chance of having safe and best quality care as well at Life Care. Clean, reliable, and engaging for the rehab and permanent residents there. Recommend this facility. :)

My 88yo mom fell and broke her shoulder. After the hospital she was admitted to Life Care (which came highly recommended) for recovery and rehab. I have to say that the facility is much nicer and more modern than I ever expected for a skilled nursing faculty and the staff are beyond excellent. Every interaction I have had with her care givers has been pleasant and they’ve always seemed happy and smiling and joking around with my mom. Special shout out to Lianne Pagley of care management and Trish in business operations for all of their help navigating insurance and the medical system. they have been absolute life savers.

I recently toured there for short term rehab for my mother who suffered a major stroke. I was extremely put off by the lack of knowledge regarding how many hours of therapy she would receive and zero knowledge on Speech and Language or OT rehab therapy. He did make sure to point out the ice cream social every week as his biggest priority of my tour. It is imperative that my mother participates in daily rehab with an extremely knowledgeable staff for more that "an hour a day, I think". That was his response when I kept diverting him from the ice cream social to the therapy that she would actually receive. I have thankfully toured much better places on the North Shore of Boston that will be able to provide the much needed rehab for her after she is discharged from Spaulding Rehabilitation.
