This is the fifth time that I have been at LifeCare of Mount Vernon after a hospitalization. I needed to come here for the continuous wound care and physical strengthening that I am unable to do myself at home.<br>Every time I am here I am very impressed with the newest improvements. -Beds are comfortable and adjustable. The retention of staff for more than a year is Impressive and indicates happy workers. I have had wonderful roommates who all made the situation more bearable. Food is always tricky in institutional settings. It too has much improved, The kitchen staff is encouraged to cook from scratch and utilize more fresh. I have no complaints, except for a boringly repetitive breakfast.
