The CNA was feeding my dad when we got there. She was so patient with him. She actually fed him more than we’ve seen him eat in a while. Everything was puréed perfectly and easy for him to swallow. We appreciate all you are doing to keep him comfortable. ❤️

My roommate was admitted for rehab, and we were told he would be there 4 weeks. Well, without me being notified, he was released 2 weeks early despite the fact he had been sick for the past two days and had some kind of memory lapse/issue during the night. I asked a nurse if a doctor had seen him and was told yes but nothing was known about his memory issue from the night before and at that time. They still released him early and in this weak condition. I had tried calling many times that morning to speak with the supervisor who never reached out to me and included me in this discharge decision, but no response. I felt it was not smart to release him at that time due to him not feeling well and his memory situation from the night before and lack of not knowing what was wrong with his memory from the night before, but was not given the opportunity to speak with the supervisor. It was very shady and unprofessional. The supervisor spoke to me on the phone only because my roommate called me to pick him up and had no memory of when I was coming to get him. At that point it was too late to inquire about him staying g because they had him all packed up and out of his room!! It was like they couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. The staff was very nice and kind, but this early discharge was negligent, and I am very upset about by it!! They made these decisions without me knowing and without discussion with me, knowing I was the caretaker…. Well, the response to me here was to call and discuss, so I did just that. I left a message the day after, and no response was given. Even home health agrees I should have been included in his progress and discharge. He spent the next two days in bed without eating. Discharging him was not in his best Interest. It is a beautiful facility with a super staff, but management is far from impressive!

It’s a lovely facility, beautiful grounds and very well looked after. They try to accommodate my wife’s tastes. Care is good. Ice cream parlor is a hit. The professional staff are excellent. Many of the nursing staff lack charm.

Nurses and CNA’s in Serenity lane are fantastic. Dale, Shanika, Martine,Marie ,Barb and Donna are the best! CNA’s are miracle workers. Benita is the best! So caring and wonderful. She goes above and beyond every shift. Mirline, Merline, Michaline, Bernadette, Marie, Maddy, Seville, ODenise, Westline and Darlene will care for loved one. Highly recommend. Your loved one will be safe and cared for in this unit with these workers.

The facility itself is older, but it was clean and well maintained. My husband was there as a hospice patient, and while I was very unimpressed with the hospice provider, the nursing staff and administration at Life Care Center of Estero more than made up for it. The nurses and administrative staff showed genuine care, compassion, and concern for my husband during his final days. They were attentive, responsive, and supportive—not only to him, but to our family as well. Their kindness and professionalism made an incredibly difficult time more bearable, and they truly helped ease both his comfort and our hearts. I will always be grateful for the care and dignity they provided during his last days.
