I was impressed by the level of care this rehab facility provided. My father was sent here for rehab after hip replacement. The nurse practitioner (Patricia) was on top of everything. The nurses and especially the OT and PT were AMAZING. We went and stayed for hours with my dad everyday so we were able to make sure he was being taken care of. Fresh water was given daily and he liked most of the food provided, although he was disappointed he always received butter but no roll with his meals. We did bring him in snacks and they had no problem with it. **************************************************** The only thing I would say needs attention is when a patient presses the nurse button (it would take awhile), I feel like they should check right away to make sure it’s not an emergency. Also, everytime we called to change a meal we knew he wouldn’t like…the voicemail box was full 🤷🏼‍♀️. **************************************************** The facility and rooms were kept clean and it smelled clean. My dad was there for about 2 weeks and was discharged and moving around great with his walker. Thank you to all that helped my dad get to this point of recovery. God bless you all and always treat your patients like they are your family, it means a lot when we are placing our loved ones in your care. I do wish we had a place like this in Cape Coral as it would have been more convenient.

Excellent Skilled Nursing Facility – Gulf Coast Medical Center I had a wonderful experience at the Skilled Nursing Facility at Gulf Coast Medical Center. The entire staff was kind, professional, and always attentive to every detail. The nurses and caregivers truly care about their patients and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and well cared for. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming — you can tell they take great pride in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment. From the front desk to the medical team, everyone treated me with respect and compassion. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care and a supportive atmosphere. Thank you to the whole team for your dedication and excellent service!

My father's first day in here and I don't feel like he is safe. We had to leave for 1 hr and in that amount of time he needed help getting off the commode and back in his chair. He pushed the call button and never got help. He got himself off the toilet and in his chair. He's been very sick in the hospital so has very little strength. I brought this to a nurses attention as well as the cna and nobody would take accountability. If you have someone you care about and you're thinking of this facility only do it IF you stay around the clock.

My dad recently spent 2 1/2 weeks at this unit and I can’t say enough good things about it. Nursing and care staff were high quality and the rehab facility was toP notch. The building itself is beautiful and well appointed and a comfortable and was a great entree to moving back home. He also was thrilled with the food and the variety. I am so thankful for this unit and how they helped my dad get ready to go home.

Just want to take a moment to thank the many Nurses and CNA’s that took care of me in the 2 weeks that I spent there in February. Including the PT and OT group. Everyone was very helpful, supportive, always checking in. Was not sure what to expect as it was my 1st time that I’ve had to go to a rehab facility. Can’t say enough other than if I could give 10 stars I would. Once again thank you for making me feel at home. I’m sure you will remember me as I kept my room at 68 degrees room 110. Wishing you all the best. I would recommend you every time based on my experience.
