I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laurelwood at The Pinehills and the incredible care they provided for my father. During such a difficult chapter of our family’s lives, the compassion, patience, and dedication shown by the entire team brought us so much comfort.<br><br>The staff treated my father with genuine kindness and dignity, always seeing the person behind the memory loss. They went above and beyond to make him feel safe, cared for, and loved. Their communication with our family, attention to detail, and willingness to support us through every step meant more than words can express.<br><br>Caring for a loved one with memory challenges is never easy, but knowing my father was surrounded by people who truly cared made all the difference. We will forever be grateful to the Laurelwood team for the love and care they gave him.<br><br>Thank you for everything you do for residents and their families. For the last 3 years my brother- inlaw<br>called Laurelwood Avita home.<br>The love and care from the staff and nurses was exceptional. EVERYBODY went over and beyond requirement. Sadely Bill passed away April 14 2026. Moving Mom to Laurelwood wasn't just a decision; it was a massive relief. After touring<br>countless facilities, I wanted the absolute best for her, and Laurelwood delivers on every level.<br>The grounds and amenities are five-star, but the real soul of the place is the people.<br>I could talk all day about the building, but a company is only as good as its heartbeat—the staff.<br><br>• Susan (Executive Director): She runs the property with a rare combination of deep<br>experience and genuine passion. She is exceptional.<br>• Brenda (Sales Director): I was an emotional wreck during my three visits. Brenda met<br>me with compassion but kept it direct, which I truly needed. She promised me Mom<br>would be settled, making friends, and happy within a month. She was 100% right.<br>• Jane (Social Director): Jane is the heart of the social scene. She’s humble, kind, and<br>takes a sincere interest in every resident.<br>• Susie (Culinary Director): You’ll find Susie out among the residents, not just tucked<br>away in the kitchen. She handles specific, often "tall order" requests with a smile. They<br>are lucky to have her.<br>• Marybeth (Front Desk): She is the first voice you hear and the first smile you see. She<br>manages a mountain of diverse responsibilities with incredible grace.<br>• Bill (Facilities): Bill is a patient saint. He’s been a helping hand since day one, always<br>attentive and clearly in love with what he does.<br>• Susan (Hairstylist): She has magical hands and a gift for making her clients feel<br>beautiful in a warm, professional space.<br><br>Then there are the "Angels on Earth." To Melissa, Bev, Stephanie, Nancy, Emily, Leanne,<br>Charlotte, Brian, Shelly, Jeanine, Margaret, Heather, Mackenzie, and Sandy (and the many<br>names I’m surely missing): thank you. You bring light, humor, and constant acts of kindness into my mom’s life daily.<br><br>The environment here is defined by warmth. The residents are so inviting that Mom felt like family from day one. She isn't just living at Laurelwood; she is happy and thriving. It is the perfect fit, and I recommend it without reservation.<br>Thank you for everything you do.
