This place is absolutely horrendous and terrible. If you want a place that does NOT take patient care seriously then this is your place! My mother’s call button was taken away and her wheelchair at night, not adhering to her diabetic diet, among other things. I wish I did more research before my mom was transferred here for PT. I highly recommend people to stay away.

There very few places I have seen or been in that meet the requirements and level of care I have seen here at Plymouth Harborside healthcare I have been here two weeks now and have several more to go. The staff here is always making rounds and tending to are personal needs. I was very happy when the VA of Brockton sent me here. For my rehabilitation. I have physical therapy and occupational therapy every day. The therapist here are by far the highest quality of care. With multiple fractures to my left foot. You will not find any other facility with the highest quality of food we receive here. I’ve been cooking for many many years and I worked in many high-quality restaurants and I could tell you the food here is very good enduring with many choices to choose from each day for all meals. the activities they provide during the day for all patients is amazing last week. I enjoyed a very nice concert with a nice young lady who sang for us for an entire hour. They have games and entertainment during the day for all patient care rooms and area is of the highest cleanliness I have seen in the facility of the size. I am very happy to be a patient here and I think anyone else would be very happy too once they’ve been here. They do have emergency call buttons and all the rooms and in all the beds I have used this and it takes less than two minutes for a nurse to respond. You will not find a cleaner facility. I guarantee you that and you will not find another facility with the quality of food that you are served here in the many choices that you are allowed to select from each and every day I promise you that. Veterans Day. I want to personally thank all of the people that helped make this day possible for us veterans. The Veterans breakfast was amazing and well presented and planned out. The decorations were amazing too. The food was delicious and well served. I can’t imagine other places doing this level of treatment to their veterans. Thank you all so very much. Looking forward to the ceremony at 2:30 pm. You have truly lifted this veterans spirit in humanity and care. God bless you all.

I entered Plymouth Harbor Healthcare (the House Of Pain) for rehab due to multiple fractures in my left leg. The service or services I received In the Physical therapy and Occupational therapy room was Phenomenal! The therapist there worked hand in hand with you to accomplish your goals, so you could achieve a greater goal by going home. As for the rest of the place needs plenty of help! From the front offices to the kitchen it kind of needs an overhaul. For example the front office Nina worked a few times outside the normal to make the residences feel better. Other office staff seemed very high strung, for example: This one person demanded information from me stating my insurance wasn’t going to pay for my stay here in the short term facility. I jumped through hoops to get the information for them to anpply for Medicare and they NEVER did anything with it! The activity director and assistant made for a great time to enjoy Bingo, trivia and many other activities. As with any home you will have residence who are rude and kind of bulling towards any other residence. The nurse’s aides well most of them were great. Some more empathetic than others. Some Seemed like they were just there for a paycheck! They were also really understaffed, some of the residents waited over a hour or more for the staff to answer call lights. The Nursing staff, that’s a different ball of wax. Way understaffed also and some not caring. Examples like Telling patients who may need pain medication for their injuries- to wait because they were to busy, getting their morning medication in the afternoon and ect. Yes the kitchen did serve some really good meals but the ones you didn’t like and filled out menu’s to get something else to eat off the a-la-cart menu on the back side of the menu, if you ordered something different from the back side of the menu either you get what you wanted and sometimes they substituted something else because they ran out of it or didn’t want to make it. If you called the kitchen because you didn’t get what you wanted they would say you didn’t fill out a new Menu or they just don’t have one. Or just be upset that you called about what you received not being correct and sending you what you ended up ordering, but extremely salty or yelling at the aides for bothering them. And the house keepers, hummmm well the level of cleaning was just for what’s seen as is and no further. For example: washing the floor… isn’t it normal to move small thins from the floor to wash it completely or simply go around it? The curtain dividers in my room were never changed while I was there. ( dirty and disgusting). Never cleaned the handles on the sink or even lifting the toilet seat to clean. Oh yeah if you wait or are waiting for someone to get back to you about any service wanted …. Don’t hold your breath! Other the Pt and Ot workers this home wouldn’t get a single star. To the workers who went out their way to accommodate us, I truly appreciate you, to the others… get a new job! The Ot and Pt crew can’t carry the home alone! A former resident

The staff is amazing! They truly care for their patients and their families. The food is good too! My Mom is in the Dementia Unit and loves everyone. They make sure all the patients get what they need! It is such a good feeling to know she is being taken care of the way she is!

I came from another rehab where I lost 40 lbs, had covid and bedsores. I came to plymouth on Christmas eve and they immediately took care of all my needs and eventually resolved the bedsores. I received PT/OT 6x per week and therapy strongly encouraged me to participate with the end goal of discharging home. I have received great care and feel happy with the staff that have supported me during my stay.
