Our experience at Larkin Chase Center was terrible. The staff was often rude, there was little urgency when patients needed help, and basic care took far too long. My family repeatedly had to ask for my loved one to be changed, and sometimes it took hours before anyone responded. There were also safety concerns. Patients wandered into other rooms, personal belongings went missing, and staff didn’t seem concerned. The facility often smelled unclean, and communication was poor throughout our stay. I would not trust this facility with someone I love, and I cannot recommend it based on what we experienced. Also, the positive google reviews must be from the owners friends and family because this place is not what is seems.

Larkin chase at bowie is a home away from home. The environment is so welcoming that it makes you feel like you are with your family. The workers are really doing great even though sometimes the job could be overwhelming but they still put in their best. .the management are doing good too they are always ready to listen to you and act .they try as much as possible to carry the family members along. I always give it to them anytime and anyday .

Every time I’ve been to visit someone here, the facility was very clean, the receptionist friendly and not distracted. The nurses were all quick to greet me with a smile, give directions. I worked 9 years in a 320 bed nursing facility and know things to be aware of. Here, there was no smell of urine or fecal matter, AND, no scent of some fragrance used to mask it.

I am not interested in writing a review for this facility. I am just frustrated that my mother was discharged for almost 2 weeks and yet to get her discharge needs met, no hospital bed, no wheel chair, no nothing just left family about to break their back providing care with out the right equipment. Phone calls after the other has left me very frustrated. No social worker covering facility , the only one that worked on my mother discharge needs did not submit the paper work. One excuse after the other , no one follows through. What an experience, awful. I am desperate for help and beyond frustration and wont recommend this place for any one family.

I walked in and was blown away. This facility is so clean and absolutely beautiful. It smells great, looks amazing. The staff that I came in contact with are the most kind polite caring people I have meet in facility. Compared to the last facility my husband was in after a staff infection. Who by the way I wouldn't send my dog to. Is amazing. I thank all of u for making the hardest thing i have ever gone through with my husband dieing and nothing more we can do. It makes me so comfortable knowing he is surrounded by caring kind people who understand that at this time in our lives we need the caring and kindness and compassion that we can get. I thank everyone here. I can go home knowing my husband is going to receive the best care possible. Thank u from the bottom of my heart and soul. From the front desk to the nursing staff the techs the people who keep this facility clean and beautiful to everyone even the people I haven't meet yet. Of also tge cooks the food delivery personnel thank you. I am truly grateful. Thank u.
