I was admitted to the Laconia Rehab Center for 10 days of Stroke related IV therapy. Not only was the medical problem eradicated the staff here at LRC contributed to my recovery with compassion and professional medical care. I need to say though that I was not thrilled about leaving the hospital to come here. My attitude changed immediately after being made comfortable and secure. As an added joy the dietary service was more than expected providing me with great and satisfying daily on time meals. Thank you all once again to: Sincerely, Dave in 103.

Excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful. Facility is very clean. My resident was a recent transfer from a Massachusetts facility and was very happy to be there. He and his friend said all the staff were wonderful with them. This place is very bright and cheerful.

My aunt was admitted mid April 2026. I called several times for updates on her care as she was transferred to this facility after having extensive spinal surgery, issues with her heart and diagnosed with stage 4 cancer after a terrible fall. No one ever calls back to update on care. I called and left messages with her care team several times as well as with her social worker. The one time the social worker called back she said we'd schedule a care plan as we were hoping to move my aunt to a facility closer to family. During that call they failed to mention my aunt had been sick. Caughing with some other issues. They had waited over 5 days to do a chest xray and blood work which I had to ask for. Instead they just kept telling us she didn't want to do her physical therapy. Turns out she had pneumonia and I only found that out from a text from my aunt. AGAIN NO CALL FROM STAFF AS REQUESTED. A week later my aunt passed away 5/11/26. The nurse on that evening called me to let me know. I still have not received any other calls from the facility. DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE.

I hesitated to even give them one star. Poorly prepared, even though they knew he was coming. My sister-in-law was unable to get out of the building at 6 pm because the system at the door was not working. He is there for rehab, but also has Alzheimers, but I saw no evidence that they are prepared to deal with that. The only good experience was with a sweet staff person named Lisa. God bless her.
