What a great place to live. We visited a number of CCRCs and selected Taylor Laconia for many reasons, especially for the quality of their multi-layered services. My husband and I are in our late 70s and mid 80s, and we have met many people, who are much older than we, still thriving. Two women with whom I lunched the other day, one over 100 and the other in her late 90s, both ascribed their longevity to their many years here. Staff, residents, campus, food - all terrific. My husband and I know how lucky we are to have found our new home, neighborhood, community.

We were initially drawn to Taylor by its commitment to charitable care and the positive experience of a friend's family whose mother Taylor tended long after the depletion of her finances. Learning more, we were impressed by the positive attitudes, professionalism, and teamwork of the staff. Did we mention their humor? There's plenty of it. It's respectful and meets us where we are, and that goes a long way for us. The clincher was the Taylor Connection program - we are continuing care contract residents living the independent phase of our Taylor life in our own home. For more information be sure to contact the admissions team. They're terrific! Bob and Peggy MacArthur

Nearly three years ago my husband and I decided it was time to explore life at Taylor for ourselves. We had friends living here who loved it, but we wanted to see what it offered us. From our first visit to The Welcome Center to today, with all that COVID -19 threw at us in between, we have felt genuinely cared about and cared for. The staff, the management and our neighbors quickly became family. Management openly seeks new ideas and addresses any resident concerns in a monthly Town Hall format where everyone is encouraged to speak. The opportunities to be active and involved are endless. We often joke that it's exhausting to live at Taylor with the calendar so full of fun and engaging things to do. I'm enjoying a second childhood! We're delighted that we decided to move here while we are still able to make the most of the varied activities, programs, trips, and classes offered. At the same time, we value the peace of mind afforded by living at a Continuing Care Retirement Community - especially this one!

Moving to the Taylor Community was the best gift I gave myself and my family. They will not have the difficult decisions to make if I’m no longer able to care for myself or make my own choices. Taylor Is a fine community with a beautiful campus and wonderful people. Those people are residents and Staff who make life joyful. There is ever so much going on and you can participate or not as your interest indicates. People from all walks of life live here and if they have a special talent or story they are willing to share it with others. The staff is extraordinary, always a smile and willingness to help. Life is easy and pleasant at the Taylor Community

I have been an independent resident at Taylor Community for over 17 years. My mother was a resident here as well back in the 1990's. While she was a resident she availed herself to all three levels of care, independent, assisted and nursing. All through her tenure she never complained once. As her son, I had no complaints about her care either. My wife and I have been extremely happy too. Especially, during COVID the Taylor staff has taken extraordinary care to keep us safe including arranging for vaccinations for all staff and residents as soon as the vaccine became available and providing in home services such as grocery shopping and meal deliveries without extra charges.
