Let me start by saying if you need rehab it’s a very nice place , staff is great , rooms are clean and my father was very happy. Becky in admissions is amazing and incredibly kind . This is how we got bamboozled . After rehab our father had to go into assisted living and that’s when it all went to hell . Same floor but you walk through the doors and the care changes dramatically. The lack of care and compassion is astonishing. The upper management is atrocious and takes no accountability . We really wanted to make it work but our father was neglected, dirty , covered in sores and the list goes on .Their LNA’s and PCA’s that actually care for your loved one are expected to also clean their rooms and do all meals . When is there time to care for your parent ? The answer is very little . They are asked to do so much with only 2 of them on the floor, no wonder your loved one isn’t getting care or attention. Care plan meetings are a joke where they pretend like they actually care but then there is no follow through or communication. The people in charge of the care plans are the worst because they actually no NOTHING about your loved one and no one reads their chart .They were giving unauthorized medication to my father and when we asked about it they stated “We are not giving it to him it’s just on the list “. Come to find out that was a lie and they were giving it to him after we specifically said that was not our wishes multiple times . If you love your parent DO NOT send them here for assisted living, they will suffer .

Golden View has a beautiful campus with clean, bright facilities and an upbeat atmosphere. When we toured the buildings we saw nothing but smiling faces from residents and staff. We were there as a partner taking photos and people were happy and excited to talk to us. There’s an onsite gym, hair stylist and plenty of activities for residents. The dining areas looked inviting and had a touch of the warmth of home. Rooms were clean and well maintained and we saw a lot of advanced equipment. Staff takes the time to think of ways to accommodate residents – whether it’s holiday crafts, resident gardening spots, or the ability to have messages printed & hand delivered via the website. Overall a top tier community!

My mom was in here for a fracture. The PT was good. But the rest of the facility nursing and aids weren’t. She cried because she didn’t understand English well and they yelled at her and she was bruised when we went to get her.Every time I got close to her she would put her arms up to block me. My mom was the sweetest kindness person. They would call me around the clock and I would hear her scream. They were medicating her to shut her up. There is no compassion with the elderly. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I am currently a resident at The Retreat after being in the hospital for knee surgery a particularly difficult one. They showed much concern and caring over how my well-being was from getting out of bed to getting dressed or getting on the bathroom toilet anything that you're going to need to do at home did you can't do yet because of a joint replacement and you got nobody at home to help you all the time this is a great place to rehab. The physical therapy staff all right on point the nurse has a very nice the AIDS are super sweet and know what they're doing you could tell by watching them and I've seen them take great care and patience with difficult residence they do a very good job I would recommend this place for anybody

The Retreat was amazing for my Mom's recovery from hip surgery. The staff was kind and caring. The facilities immaculate. The care management team and the nursing staff are proactive and problem solvers. She went in for just the hip surgery, she came out with so much more. There were things the nurses and PCAs noticed that they brought to my attention and we worked together to improved her overall wellness. The staff that ran the cafe and delivered the food trays were so nice and helpful. The food was good. I would highly recommend them for post surgery care.
