I relocated my mother to Massachusetts from North Carolina, and before making that move, I researched every single memory care facility in the area. I did my due diligence—and I have a folder nearly 7 inches thick to prove it! 😊

Without a doubt, Keystone is the best choice for someone in the early stages of memory care.

What makes Keystone so unique is its Interim Memory Care program. It is incredibly respectful of where a person is in their journey. Rather than taking away independence, Keystone promotes it while providing support wherever it is needed. My mother is still able to do a fair amount for herself, but she benefits from having that 24/7 watchful eye and I have the reassurance that someone is always there if she needs help.

And the apartments are impressive—especially for memory care. They are spacious and feel much more like a private residence than a typical memory care setting, with a kitchenette, living room, bedroom, sunroom, and porch. My mother truly feels like she is living at a resort rather than in a care facility.

The entire community is kept VERY clean, which was extremely important to me. But what really sets Keystone apart is the staff. I cannot say enough about them. They are compassionate, attentive, professional, and genuinely wonderful—in every single department.

Moving a parent into memory care is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. I spent an enormous amount of time researching and comparing options, and I feel incredibly grateful that we found Keystone. I would recommend it without hesitation to any family looking for a supportive, respectful, and beautiful environment for a loved one.

I moved to Keystone in late February. The meals are very good, fresh fruit, vegetables and many choices to pick from.
There is an abundance of activities - music, bingo, discussion groups, and so much more!
For me, two highlights are a balcony and my own washer and dryer.
The staff is wonderful and very helpful! Through the adjustment, they did every right - from setting up my television, to something extra at dinner!
After a period of adjustment and a new routine, I am very pleased that I made the right decision.

I visited keystone commons with my parents and grandmother for her assessment to get into the community. The team at keystone commons was really nice. They gave us lunch which was good. I thought it was cool that my grandmother will get to order off a menu every day. My grandmother even got to meet a bunch of people she will be living with. I hadn’t seen her that happy in a while.

Moving to Keystone was quite a decision, especially for my husband who'd lived in our home for over 60 years! We already knew Keystone through a friend, which was a plus. For me, the transition was easy – I was ready two years prior! It's truly decreased my stress. I don't feel so alone, and the community is incredibly supportive. My husband, who isn't very mobile and has anxiety, really benefits; he knows help is just a button press away, and socializing at dinner makes a big difference for him.

The activities are plentiful and fabulous – our activities director and her staff are amazing! The residents are so accepting and helpful. When I had surgery, my neighbor stepped up and helped my husband get to the dining room for weeks! The staff, from housekeeping to the wonderful young wait staff, are all so friendly and caring. They deal with elderly residents in the most respectful way. The food is good, with plenty of options, especially the salads!

I would never have any problems recommending Keystone Commons senior living community. It's a beautiful, wonderful, and welcoming community. The support here is hard to beat!
