Ivy Knoll has really been a great experience for my father. He moved here about a year ago from another local facility and he’s been very happy. This place is privately owned and not a big conglomerate which makes it unique. They are able to make decisions within a short amount of time and listen to any needs or ideas that are brought up without having to wait for months if not years for corporate to come up with a not so resident friendly resolution.<br>The crew/staff have been fantastic and can’t thank them enough for the smooth transition for my father.

Awesome place for my mother! The staff are so friendly to not only mom, but to all of her visitors as well. They have all made her feel at home. They give her the attention she needs as needed. She enjoys the good food (I have tried several things and all so good) and the staff in the cafeteria also. There is always something to do for our loved ones. Great activities, library, chapel and places to just sit and people watch. Thanks for making me feel better about the decision to move our mom here!

I’ve lived at Ivy Knoll for nearly three years. For the first two years, I lived on the personal care floor. Because of the various activities that were available and additional physical therapy, I moved to independent living.<br><br>The staff truly cares and listens. In February, one of the staff heard that my speech was slurred. I had had a stroke. I have no deficiencies from it. (Too bad people’s salaries weren’t commensurate with the service they provide.)<br><br>We have a variety of daily activities, go grocery shopping once a week and have other weekly field trips. We have a weekly movie night, biweekly poker nights and euchre nights. We have a weekly social hour that is well attended sometimes accompanied by live music.<br><br>The food is good. Our chef is open to requests, usually acting on them. She even once made papas à la huacaina, a Peruvian potato salad.<br><br>If you ever stop by for a tour, feel free to find me to ask questions.
