Before going to Hopkins Restorative Care Center, I was honestly scared by the negative reviews. However, the moment I arrived, all of that changed. The people there were absolutely wonderful.<br>An Incredible Staff...<br><br>Ralph❤️..He is the first person you meet when you come in, and he is amazing. He made me feel comfortable immediately, even though I arrived feeling very anxious.<br>Favorites:... A huge shoutout to Tracy❤️, Robert❤️, and McDonald,❤️ as well as the bunch of other great staff members who helped me get situated.<br>The Medical Team:.....I can't pronounce my doctor's last name, but she was incredible. I was terrified that I wouldn't get the proper care for my torn meniscus and my back injury. I have a million things wrong with me, and I had some medication issues at first, but they fixed them immediately. They made sure I was completely taken care of and out of pain, which was so important to me.<br>I was only there for a short stay for knee rehab, but I got to play bingo and bond with the other residents—I loved it! On top of that, the food is great. The chef actually works with you personally to make sure you get exactly what you need.<br>I told the staff I would write a review when I left the first time, but I forgot. Since I have to go back there again soon, I remembered my promise. This time, I am not scared at all because I know their standard of excellence. They make sure you have everything you need.<br>I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehab in the area. It is an amazing place. Thank you to the staff for accepting me and making me feel like family❤️❤️❤️

They've been wonderful at taking care of my dad. He's right at home here, comfortable and well taken care of. They are angels in human form, and the work they do is truly wonderful.

I feel this place should be shut down for a number of reasons. My 90 year old dad really hates this place.

A family member recently completed a short care and rehab stay here (about 2 months) that included physical and occupational therapy. The staff and caregivers were excellent, with special acknowledgement going to Teresa, the Director of Social Services. She is very professional and knowledgeable, and helped us navigate my family member's overall care plan, as well as the various medical and social services systems. Her communications were thorough, and she consistency replied to both emails and phone calls in a timely manner. The only thing preventing a full five-star review is the facility itself. It's dated, and lacking in some very basic maintenance and upkeep. (Something that they are aware of and openly acknowledged.) But, for the most part, the facility was clean, organized and relatively quiet. A huge thank you to Teresa and, if any members of the direct care staff read this, to all of you, as well.
