Steve, Adam, and the woman nurse who I don’t remember her name are amazing! These nurses truly help their patients with the transition from the hospital to being back at home. I am very appreciative of Holyoke VNA!

I have nothing but good things to say about the team in Holyoke. Everyone I have met has been nothing but kind to myself and my mother who is in their care. They're here for my mother but I can also say they're here for me as well. From the nurses that visit to the team at the headquarters I have only encountered greatness. My mother has been sick for some time now and unfortunately I have been witness to the lack of caring so many doctors and facilities have for their patients. This is where holyoke hospice vna differs. I've been my mothers care taker for years and there's thing that I know that doctors don't about her and vise versa. The team at hospice has treated me like part of their team and listened to my thoughts on things and took advantage of my knowledge of my mother. Their care truly extends to all who are involved with the patients. They will never truly understand just how grateful I am to have them be a part of my life during these hard times and how in so many ways they've become aww inspiring to me. Lauren has been there from day 1 and has always had my mothers best interest at heart. She's has been so kind and gentle with me and makes sure my mother has every resource there is out there to have along with anything I may need or benefit from . If Lauren can't get it done then in my eyes it just can't be done. Anne is a spiritual advisor and just plan goddess that was introduced to me. She gave me back things I thought I lost within my years, strengths I didn't know were there and the ability to let go of the things I let hold me down for so long. Steve is one of the visiting nurses and one of my faves. I could listen to his dogs daily antics all day lol. He has been more then just a nurse for my mother but a friend and inspiration for me . Everyone I have come to know has been more then what there job calls for. This is not just a paycheck for them and in my eyes it takes a certain type of person to become a good hospice nurse. It takes more then knowledge to take on the situations they are tasked with. It takes a certain soul to be who they are to the families and patients they so lovingly take Care of. Because of these encounters I have found the desire to go back to school and become a nurse. Currently I am enrolled and hope one day I can become as noble of a nurse they all are in my eyes. They are my inspiration, my heros and my friends when rainy days are around. I am so grateful to have them through this time.
