The room's are nice for the patients. The social area could be a little better. The furniture in the social area looks nice but when you sit in the chairs they are very hard on the bottom. The furniture gives off a very puffy leather vibe but it surprised me when I sat in one. It's like all the foam has been worn down. Granted I only sat in one that matched all the other's. I hope they are not all like this. The next time I come back I will check. I do know this is a chair that a pregnant CNA was sitting in and she had her feet up in it. I don't think these elderly people should be forced to sit on hard furniture all day sleeping because this is what a lot of them do. The staff however does an excellent job with the patience at this facility. My Aunt who is a resident there said the food is good. She seems happy most of the time. With dementia she does create scenarios in her head and wants their to be conspiracy theories going on sometimes. I will call and get the run down of what's going on. I appreciate the personal contact letting me know what Laura needs are. I try to get them to her promptly. I could not do this job and my hat is off to the people who do this on a daily basic. Thank you for the dedication you show the elderly people who are no longer able to take care of themselves. Once again I did not sit on the couches but these two chair's where the staff sit at night up against the wall are like sitting on plywood. It would make me feel better for the staff and residents if they were repaired or replaced. It time.
