Initially I was terrified to leave my husband at a rehab for a short-term stay. Hillary Miller took me on a tour of the building and made me feel so much better about leaving him here. The physical therapy they receive while they are here is absolutely amazing. I don't know what we would do if it wasn't for the physical therapy staff. Even on days when he didn't want to do physical therapy they convinced him that it was the best thing for him. Sammy and Andrea were especially good at motivating him. Once he realized that they were right he made great strides. The patients mindset makes a huge difference in their stay. It is also helpful if someone can visit and advocate for the patient if there is something they feel is not being addressed. Sometimes, it might feel that your needs are not being met quickly enough. Please try to keep in mind that there are many patients and some are very needy. Staff is sometimes stretched thin. Honestly , we have had times where the call button was not answered very quickly but that will happen anywhere. No one ever ignored him. All in all the staff is caring and friendly. Administrative staff is very helpful and welcomes you to share any issues or concerns with them. They are open and honest with their responses.

** Update, we did receive a call from the Administrator the next day addressing all of the concerns below. They are looking into and correcting, which was very welcomed and appreciated. Do not let the positive reviews fool you as they did us. The staff are wonderful, especially the head nurses, physical therapist and concierge. However my Father has been in the facility for 16 days. He was not given his regular meds after several days and times of asking staff to speak with the doctor, There was no communication as to his health status with several ongoing health issues. We asked for and was told we would receive calls for his blood work results that never happened, and chest x-rays requested and told would be ordered that were never done to check his pneumonia, no communication as to wound care for a bed sore. When having to use the call button to use the bathroom, the wait was 1 to 2 hours to get assistance from someone. Several staff would check in on him to see what he wanted, but then would say "that's not my job" but I will get someone to help, and still no one would come. In addition, he was given Milk of Magnesia in the morning, used the bathroom in the morning, asked to use the bathroom again in the evening and the nurse argued with him that he already had a bm today and didn't need to go!!!! Then to avoid helping him to the bathroom, they put a diaper on a man that has NEVER needed one and more than capable of using the bathroom. It was just laziness on their part! Understand that there are severe help shortages in nursing homes, however this is no excuse for the treatment my Father received while in the facility. Again, I will say the concierge, head nurse and physical therapist were wonderful and helpful as they can be. Ultimately the Doctor that works for this facility is horrible along with communication and follow through on requests. Please do your full research before placing a loved one in their care, or at least, since options are limited in the area, ensure a family member or friend is present daily to ensure that the care that is needed is given.

The whole staff is nothing but nice and helpful. They answered all of our questions, have been nothing but genuinely kind and caring toward my father in law, my spouse, and myself. The staff here seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. You don’t see that very often in these facilities. The place was for the most part clean a few cob webs here and there, but that’s nothing compared to the patient care they give. I was very impressed and so was our family.

The best care and support you could ask for. The physical therapy there was recommended by my surgeon, and for good reason, they are the best! Pulled me through a difficult situation and actually made it fun. My only complaint is the food. The kitchen is currently outsourced and is terrible.
