Everything was pretty good with the nurses and physical therapy. The food wasn't great. You picked your meals but never got what you picked. Our problem was with the social worker Amanda witter. I called her numberous times to ask questions and she never returned our calls. On discharge she was suppose to set up nurses to come to my mom's house. I called to check on it and she never set it up. I have tried calling again but still no call back. My mom needs this service and she can't it without a call.

Pt. O.t. Speech are great most of the staff are good.I think that they need way more staff on the rehab floor. They do not handle covid cases well. They moved residents with covid to floors that doesn't have covid residents. I have been in rehab for three month. I think in my last few weeks a lot of the good staff quite. Food is not the best

All nurses and aids fantastic. Surprisingly wonderful caring people. Food has no condiments. No flavor in food. Mashed potatoes and roll 1 butter for both. No gravy. Dull tasting food.

My mom was placed at Elderwood of Hornell per my request. They had room and we have had a complicated last 10 weeks. However, she thrives when she is there. Her aides, her nurse, the doctor, they have been so attentive. I am a very involved daughter and I ask a lot of questions. All have been answered and with kindness. The activities schedule is full of opportunities. Each resident needs to advocate for themselves to go. The rehab team if PT and OT have become like family. I am so grateful

I have to give a giant shout out to the folks at Elderwood! My Dad fell and broke a leg and had to rehab here...I can't say enough about how great everyone here is. Patient, kind and compassionate from the front door all the way to the back. COVID has presented many challenges but these folks have a plan and they work that plan! Stupendous!!
