Please don’t send your love ones here. My father Mr Bellamy was transferred here from hospital to this nursing home and the social worker Michelle called and paid a cab to send him back into the community with dementia. He was confused and no way of getting into home. What place in there right mind states that a person with dementia is capable of going home with no key to get in. Then walking around community and was missing for hours.

Normally do not leave reviews but it is necessary to after witnessing the chaos and calamity at this facility. Friday 13 March 2026, I walked in to the facility and forthwith the Human Resources lady (by a badge on her lanyard), is articulating to a elderly resident “shut the expletive up, I will get an aide for you” (exact words). So I originally dismissed this as someone is being irritating or having a bad day. Saturday 14 March 2026, I walked in and my family member and their bedding both saturated with human excrement. I spoke to an Aide and they told me they were short staffed and doing what they could but would get right to my concern. While they were addressing the situation I spoke to the Aide about what had occurred on Friday 13 March of 2026 and they had told me that “HR” is “terrible and wretched and always acts that way towards everyone including residents and staff”. (Their exact words plus many other not so nice words about HR). I will be calling the NYS Dept of Health today filing a complaint and many others. It is unjustifiable that an employee should be speaking to a resident in that manner and that someone with no HR experience should be in that position. Along with regards to the short staffing and the extreme conditions of family members suffering. I have photos that are private that I will be emailing the state. Do not leave your loved one at this facility. No A/C. Couldn’t be bothered to get my mother a fan or the control to her bed. Maintenance had to do that. Never happened the entire time she was there. She had a staff member yell and swear at her while she was there. It took them five days to get her heart medication that she needed. Wouldn’t take the bottle from the pharmacy I had and log that in. The hospital did. Knowing the importance of this medication and knew they didn’t have it on hand. Let her go without and her cardiologist told her to never miss a dose. I would leave zero stars if I could.

That place was a hole. No central, in wall oxygen or air. There was the same oxygen concentrator that I have at home and nebulizer that was older than mine. They weren't familiar with the equipment so consequently I had no oxygen for the first 1/2hr I was there when the evening supervisor came in and realized why I was laying with my head on the tray table and fixed it. They pushed a stand next to the bed so I could do my own nebulizer. I wasn't given a commode. I was told to use the call bell and they would help me with a bed pan. My call bell stuck and I couldn't get anyone. Laid in pee most of the night and had no pain meds. The next morning, after I was dried and the bed was brutally changed, I was brought breakfast that was left where I couldn't reach it. Lunch was stone cold soup. I ate cookies and snacks from my welcome pack for both meals. After that I called my husband and told him to come get me. They weren't doing anything that couldn't be done at I home. I truly felt that if I stayed there, I would die quickly. The nursing home had no problem signing me out AMA after just 14 hours and .

Our 95 yr old mother was there for about 6 months. Received great care, the nurses and staff really treated her well and truly cared about her. She received therapy when needed, and at her end of life, they did all they could to keep her comfortable. Great communication from the nurses and all involved. We were there frequently and always felt welcomed. This place is definitely better under the new management.
