My (79yr) husband fell and broke his arm Friday afternoon. I called the ambulance they came but of course couldn’t take him to Greenfield so we had to go to New Castle. She told me she could only give him a baby dose of pain meds because they’d ran out and that’s all they had. They were the only ambulance for the county they were doing the best they could. They had to hurry him up there because there was another call and nobody to go get them. Once up there, I inquired about sending his records to his doctor, which they told me they could not do which I found out later was not true. After release I was looking over the paperwork and they didn’t even have his family Doctor on there. They had another name out of Muncie. We had never met when I called back to get that straightened out. They weren’t sure if they could do that or not. That place is a joke. The girls on the ambulance team were doing the best they could with what they had I do not fault them at all.

My brother was taken to ER 3 times before anyone listened to him. On 3rd visit he was admitted. He was an inpatient for a week. When discharged he was still as bad as when he went in. 2 days later he was taken back to ER by ambulance. Dr Zulh told him his breathing issues were nothing but COPD, no infection, no bronchitis. Did a breathing treatment and sent him home again. Instead I drove him to Muncie hospital. He was admitted with sever Bronchitis, Flu and an infection. They also did cultures and checked for blood clots. He was so relieved that he finally was going to get help. Dr Zuhl in New Castle ER had a very poor attitude, lack of compassion and was extremely rude and condescending when talking to us. I hope none of my family ever has to deal with him again.

This is by far the worst hospital I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with. I had to remind them to give me my insulin, they didn't give me one of my BP meds in addition to another medication and felt like I wasn't listened to. I was there 2 days, and asked for a shower. I was refused. They didn't even offer me wet wipes to bathe. One time I went was for swollen lymph nodes in my neck. The X-Ray tech put a location BB to pinpoint where to look. A few hours later I was discharged and the PA was laughing saying I was OK, that I just had a BB from a gun in my neck. I pointed out it was a location BB for the doc to look at. He said it was a actual BB from a gun and most people don't know it's there. Seriously? I think I would know if I had a BB from a gun in my neck.

This place needs shut down. If you like really expensive bandaid then this is the place for you. I took my daughter to the ER today at the primary care physicians recommendation because she has not been feeling well for a few days and was sent home by school due to having a low heart rate. We have been monitoring this at home also. They done an ekg and it came back OK they said so the doctor said it's probably stress and anxiety. Really, yes I know it's possible but normally stress and anxiety raises heart rates. And she even said she wasn't stressing about anything. After pushing the doctor to run more test they decided to draw some blood. Not positive what all they checked for but doc comes back now saying it's probably lack of sleep and too much social media. What kind of doctor is this??? Are these professional diagnosis? And how do you form any of these opinions and or assumptions on someone you know nothing about? While sitting in the ER the afib alarm keeps going off. They said it's nothing to worry about. So we are there for fatigue, shakes, and low heart rate but afib alarm is nothing to worry about? I know I'm not a doctor but am smart enough to know alrms are there for a reason. So my daughter got sent home with a lack of sleep, too much social media, stress, and anxiety diagnosis. So in other words she is still having all the same symptoms, no meds to help, no doctor there that cares all at what will probably cost a few hundred dollars. Thus should be illegal and this doctor should bluntly said, lose his medical license. I have attached photos to include the doctors name.

Well, we had a procedure today, in the outpatient surgery center. The people were nice, the place clean, and it was easy enough to find a parking spot. But one thing I wish they would change is them sticking you in a small consultation room, with nothing to do, no vending machines, COFFEE or anything, for the ENTIRE procedure, and then AFTER the procedure, the doctor says you can sit in the OTHER waiting room for the next 45 minutes, lol. The OTHER waiting room has vending machines, COFFEE, tv...if you watch it, I don't, a lot of space, people, etc. Why couldn't I sit in the other waiting room for the procedure, you might be asking? So the doctor can FIND ME! LOL. 🤔 (The waiting room was right next to the consultation room, just in case you didn't see that). Well, we're back for another procedure. I'm in the big waiting room this time lol...I put my foot down and told them I cannot sit in that little room...I have a bit of claustrophobia.
