This place is horrible from nursing to cleanliness. Nursing staff is lazy and incompetent from proper nursing practices aka not wearing clean gloves when dealing with IV s to giving wrong pain meds. “Accidents happen” there words. Multiple messages left to all management and never a return call to ignoring patient requesting to speak to them. Luckily I got my loved one out of this place early from rehab .i would give a negative star if I could.

Due to neglect from the rehab my mother has received an infection and they did not continue her care properly

I have a brother there due to dementia for the last 5 years. I visit from 1 to 3 times each week. 5 years ago, my experience there was quite different than today. This is an old building with many challenges, 5 years ago the entire building stunk, was dirty and poorly ran. It was understaffed but did have core group of dedicated caring people. I have witnessed a significant improvement slowly in the past 5 years. Today the floors and walls are clean the smell is much ,much better. Daily activities are always keeping the morale and smiles a better experience for patients. My brother has not been an easy patient to serve. At times he has been a difficult patient. However, the staff has remained kind and compassionate. My observations of the care for other patients that never have any visits from friends or family, I have seen them treated like family by staff. I have gotten to know several of the staff members, and I see them go above and beyond expectations. There has been a remarkable transformation in the past 5 years.

I have a brother there and everyone there has been very helpful and have even gone out of there way for him. We moved him from brent wood in Evansville and that was the best thing we could have done. I would recommend henderson nursing for anyone needing good care
