Our parents were at The Pointe for 3 -1/2 years, but we recently moved them to The Terrace. The Independent Living was very nice, but it was time to move to Assisted Living, where they have someone available at all times. Luckily, there was an opening for them and Leah and Breanna made the moving process quite easy. It is such a relief for my brothers and I to know that the staff there really care about them and that our Mom and Dad are well-taken off. Everyday there are activities and events for them to do if they want. They especially like the trivia and Bingo. Their room is very nice, and we are grateful that the facility is close to our homes. This was definitely the right decision for them.

I have had a great experience being here at Solarbron the people are very knowledgeable in my healthcare and they are the number one reason why I am getting better. I have not been able to walk since November and today is May 5 and I was able to take 7 steps in physical therapy.

Solarbron staff were kind and friendly to my mother in the memory care center. Many had decided on the profession as a calling after caregiving for a loved family member - and their care for my Mom was greatly appreciated.

We moved my mother-in-law into Solarbron Terrace Long Term Care three months ago and she is very happy living there. The staff is very friendly and compassionate and she really enjoys getting three meals everyday. Especially the desserts! We feel that this was the best decision that we made for her.

A literal nightmare from admission through move-out. We waited hours for meals, the heat broke during an ice storm and we found my grandparents sitting in recliners with towels wrapped around their heads trying to stay warm. Staff repeatedly called us to come in and help because they were understaffed. They put wander guards on my grandparents’ ankles without explaining what they were — they caused visible bruising — and even after confirming my grandmother was not an elopement risk, they refused to remove them. They pushed unnecessary medications, switched levels of care without communication, and billing was a mess even months after move out. When my dad (their son) questioned their care, Chad, a regional administrator for Cardon just in town that day, essentially argued with him and revealed — in a rude, “gotcha” way — that both my grandparents had dementia diagnoses before any care provider even told us. After hearing similar horror stories from other families, we ultimately moved my grandparents into our home. Avoid this place if you can. I also can’t help but feel that some of the overly positive reviews are from people who attend occasional events like the Easter egg hunt — not from families who experience the day-to-day reality of care here.
