My sister relocated here from a small town in the Midwest, where she had spent her entire life. The last ten years she had lived alone. This move was a life changing experience for her.<br><br>In the 18 months she has been at Hawthorne Court, she has made dramatic progress in her ability to communicate, socialize and improve her life skills. Her self confidence has improved significantly and she continues expanding her interests and participation in the many planned activities provided. These improvements are all a result of the efforts of the staff at Hawthorne Court!<br><br>My gratitude extends to all the employees and other residents who go out of their way every day to make her life more meaningful. She now feels at home here and thinks of the staff and other residents as her new “family “.
