If your family member cannot advocate for themselves DO NOT allow them to go here. - Patients can sit soiled for hours on end without being helped, despite multiple pleas. - False documentation regarding what a patient is/isn't capable of to send them home quicker. - Allowed a non-patient (wife with dementia) to move into patient’s room with a cot from outside of the facility making the room no longer ADA compliant. (For a patient who’s placed at the facility specifically for mobility issues) - Discharged an end stage Alzheimer’s patient without notifying their medical POA or discussing discharge instructions with POA/caregiver. There’s so much more to a healthcare facility than fake marble walls and esthetics. Highly advise the nursing staff put just as much attention and care into their patients as the interior designer did to this building. Otherwise I see countless lawsuits in this rehabs future.

Recently visited a friend there. This is a very nice place. Large, bright and sparkling clean. Very special kind of person takes care of our seniors here.

This place is a joke. My grandmother was neglected and not taken care of. She has cancer and would be in pain. The nursing staff did not keep up with her pain medication and would allow her to lay in bed for hours screaming in pain. Several times we showed up and could hear my grandmother screaming from the hallway for help because she was not capable of pressing her help button and the staff would be sitting on the couch ignoring her. She got evaluated by a nurse from the hospice unit and they said she has not been properly taken care of and was neglected by staff at this facility. They filed several complaints in a few months time frame and the same things continued to happen. My grandmother was thankfully finally moved to a different place with great staff.

I just moved my mother into Hampton Place and after the first two weeks I can say it was a great decision. The staff is wonderful, very encouraging, polite, and is genuinely interested in her well being and comfort. I’ve been up there every other day and other than a few start up issues it’s been smooth sailing. The food is very good and not what I expected. So far there haven’t been any repeats and it’s far better than the generic hospital food. She’s still very active so her nurse (Susan) went out of her way to make sure she met those that were still mobile and active and liked to play cards. Each quarter there is a scheduled Care team meeting with the medical staff to address any heath or prescription concerns and today was the first one. They were very helpful and wanted to make sure all of her needs were met so I was impressed. Keeping my fingers crossed that the level of care continues and that we made the right choice in skilled nursing homes. So far so good.

Moving my mother farther away from us was an incredibly difficult decision, but it was necessary to ensure she had the quality of life and care she deserves. The staff at Hampton Place are caring, attentive, and communicative. The facility itself is beautiful, and you never have to worry about your loved one being placed with another resident. (Each resident enjoys a private room with a large, wheelchair-accessible bathroom.) My mother's quality of care has significantly improved since moving here, with meticulous attention to her bathing, oral health, and engagement in various programs. The staff respects each resident's choices, allowing them to opt-out of activities if they prefer. My mother particularly enjoys having a variety of lunch and dinner options. Having choices helps empower those that have lost so much. We are all immensely relieved and grateful to know she is safe and well cared for in her new home. I can't say enough about how happy we all are with her new living situation.
