I would not recommend this facility based on my experience as my father’s guardian.<br><br>One of the biggest issues was the lack of communication. The corporate office and the facility staff often seemed disconnected, and I frequently received conflicting information depending on who I spoke with. It became extremely frustrating trying to get clear answers about my father’s care.<br><br>I also felt that my concerns as a family member were often dismissed. There were multiple times when I raised questions or concerns about my father’s condition, and instead of being taken seriously, I felt ignored or brushed aside.<br><br>During my father’s repeated hospitalizations, I was contacted over and over about money rather than being supported through his medical emergencies. It was incredibly stressful to have financial conversations while my father was critically ill.<br><br>The facility also pursued a guardianship case against me, which created additional emotional and financial strain for my family. I believed I was acting in my father’s best interests throughout the process, and the legal action only added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. Also the lady lied through her teeth in court. It was devastating to hear I was so shocked I was stumbling over my words. I mean LIED.<br><br>I was deeply concerned when my father experienced significant blood loss related to his catheter. I also witnessed situations where nursing assistants attempted to communicate concerns to nursing staff, but those concerns did not always appear to be taken seriously. Seeing communication break down between caregivers was alarming.<br><br>Overall, I left with the impression that communication, responsiveness to families, and coordination of care need significant improvement. Families deserve to feel heard, respected, and included when advocating for a loved one.<br><br>I hope this review encourages the facility to improve communication between management and staff, listen more carefully to family concerns, and prioritize patient care above administrative issues. No family should have to fight to have their concerns acknowledged while caring for someone they love.<br>Also the high nursing staff turnover is concerning. Residents deserve consistent caregivers who know their medical history, routines, and needs. Frequent staffing changes disrupted continuity of care and made communication with families more difficult.
