Life is pretty great at Sunrise of Lincoln Park! I think the community truly stands out because of the boutique-style atmosphere and close-knit community feel. Being a smaller community allows the team to provide a much more personalized level of care and attention to each resident. The staff genuinely knows the residents on an individual level — their routines, preferences, personalities, and what makes them feel most at home.

Moving Dad to Sunrise has been the best decision I’ve made since the day his care fell to me. The team at Sunrise has become our community. The people genuinely see Dad and me. We both have received the support and care that we need. Dad is in a safe and protecting environment where his ever-changing needs are perceived, understood, and met with thoughtfulness and careful attention. I have been able to be his ‘kid’ once again— the person who loves him and gets to be playful and light, and hopefully make him smile and know how much his life still matters. I also get to rest easier, knowing I have a whole team along with me on this journey. I’ve had shoulders to cry on and support groups to share with— people who truly understand and can empathize with me. I’m also encouraged to take care of my own mental and physical health by stepping away when I need to. Thank you, one and all.

I do not currently have any related loved ones at this Residence but I am very familiar with Sunrise!They have a full staff of personalable, hospitable and kind people. It's surely not your average Assisted Living. Top care is provided here and there is sense of community. I recommend this location or any Sunrise Assisted Living location but I'm familiar with Lincoln Park and that's where it's at! I only gave 4 and not 5 stars because there's always room to grow become better!

My sister has been a resident for almost 6 years. In general, I am very pleased with the care she receives. The key to success is the onsite leadership and staff. Last year there were major leadership changes, and during the transition I was very dissatisfied. However, the team in place now has turned things around dramatically, and is doing a great job!
