I ate lunch with my grandparents Aug. 30, 2026, and our server (Maryon, I think her name was) went above and beyond to help me with my salad order. I mistakenly thought the entrée salad was a garden salad. When our server explained the entrée salad was a different type of salad, she reconfigured the Cesar salad to meet my initial order in terms of dressing and protein. She even included some beautifully cut garden vegetables to add. It was a better salad than I could've hoped for. Thank you!

Mice and roach infestations, malfunctioning elevators, broken appliances. They don't have enough parking for the health aides, doctors, and family members that come to visit. My dad temporarily needed to go to the rehab facility and after 7 hours, no one had even checked on him, so we removed him and took him home. Honestly, I don't feel safe with my parents at this community but my mother's anxiety won't allow her to leave, so the rest of the family lives in dread of a real emergency. I've visited and evaluated other places and it is the emergency plans that most concern me. I don't think Greenspring is staffed well enough to support the community in the event of a true emergency, such as a fire. I'm not sure the social workers and security even know which residents would need help evacuating in the event of an emergency. It feels like an accident waiting to happen.

Tell me why I spent 2 hrs with my sister and all the bedrooms were without electricity. Said someone was coming to fix it. I had to leave and no one came yet. Shouldn’t they have a back up generator. I felt bad for my sister, it was getting too warm in that room. I’m sure other residents needed machines. Residents were in the hallway.
