This place is terrible my dad was discharged to them after his knee replacement they would leave him in the room alone didn’t take care of him left him on the call light for 45 min The first day he went there I visited him. There was feces on his wall that were not from my dad. I immediately asked for them to move my dad some place else the social worker was rude and not pleasant to work with said it was not her job to find another place for him I let her know I was an LALD and it is absolutely her job to send referrals to other places to see if they can accept him told me I can’t take him if there’s no discharge order I told her to get me one ASAP the aids have no clue what they are doing finally after 3 days I got my dad out of that place! This place is terrible and the social worker is TERRIBLE told my dad to find his own transportation as well. Never send your loved one there!

My brother was there for several months. The food was terrible. The care was not the best. When he went home and I was putting his things away I found 2 sandwich ziplock bags with medication in them, indicating he was not taking his meds. His room in the winter was very cold, he was told to keep his door open and that would help If he did that then he couldn't sleep because the person across the hall yelled day and night. The social worker was terrible to work with, I don't think she cares about the person she is supposed to be helping. There was a male nurse that was very kind to my brother and the lady in the office was very good to work with. My brother said he would never go back there. I'm not sure the name Good Samaritan is right.

Worst experience! I was supposed to have physical therapy everyday for 3 weeks, I only had therapy for 4 days in total. My bed sheets were supposed to be change every day, my sheets were changed once towards the end of my staying. The food was sooo bad, that the only day I enjoyed, it it was the day I had a salad, bland, no dressing, but at least something edible. It took for the nurses forever to give you pain medication. There was a patient that asked for help constantly and nobody would come to help. This was everyday. I would advise you to ask your doctor to send you another place, the place should be called The Bad Samaritan.

Please DO NOT put your loved on here for care. This facility is awful. I mean really awful. Staff are rude (except a few), they are rude to family, don’t communicate, and are dangerous. Made medical decisions that would have landed my father back in the hospital. My father was there for a little over a week and declined very quickly. As soon as I got him out he improved. Food is disgusting. Environment is run down with overgrown bushes. Nothing kept up well. Can’t even sit outside with your loved one, not allowed. Thank goodness I was able to get my father out. Keep looking, seriously! Administrator is not helpful or friendly and several staff acknowledged her ineptitude. Social worker, well title does not fit her. Not helpful. Zero stars. Update: new administrator, although I’ll never know if improvements are made, he seems genuinely interested in making improvements and that’s so good to hear! I wish them all the best and adjusted my review based on what I believe is their dedication to improvements!

Highly knowledgeable, comprehensive, respectful, kind, caring, and nurturing describes the life my sister experienced in her 3 month stay at Good Samaritan. 3 months because this is the time her terminal cancer allowed. During this timespan Sandy was seen by a highly qualified oncologist and comforted with massages, nail care, whirlpool baths, dog and music therapy, as well as welcomed chaplain visits. My daily visits allowed a first hand experience with the kind and caring environment, sweet physical and emotional care, treatment, and relationships provided by staff (and Hospice Team) at Good Samaritan. The kind and caring treatment was also provided by the dining room staff ~ every day and each meal (due to Sandy having just 4 teeth). Mashed potatoes w butter was her daily (every meal) request. Request honored! Sandy's happiness, peacefulness, and comfort at GS is what mattered most. With grateful appreciation ~Diane, sister of resident along with her extended family and friends.
