My mom is currently at this facility for rehab. Everything was going good at first until a few days ago when my mom called me upset about something that was said to her. At the time my car was broken down so i was not able to go to the facility that night to see what was going on. I reached out through text to the admissions director and then the next day I called and left a message. I still haven't received a call or text or anything back from the admissions director. She assured me when i came to take a tour that if there was an issue that it would be taken seriously and taken care of and if i had any issues or concerns to reach out to her as soon as it happened so that she would be able to know who was her care taker when the incident happened. I texted her on sunday as soon as i got off the phone with my mom and called her on monday after lunch. Its now Wednesday night and i still haven't received any phone call or text or anything from her or anyone in management. Im very upset about all of this. She was in another facility a few months ago and i always got a response in a reasonable time frame. I was hoping this place was going to be as good as the last but unfortunately it doesnt seem like it. Im very disappointed.

I had a friend that was there and they would not wake him up to eat and I cleaned his room myself. The nurse was good but laundry ever brought any rags or towels unless we asked for them. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They just left him laying in bed the whole time unless he did physical therapy. I had to ask them to change his diaper. God help the patients in there.

My mom was placed there after a difficult hospital operation. The staff is excellent. Administrative staff is willing to help in any way they can. The therapist, nurses, CNA'S and all other staff did an excellent job with her care.

I can not say enough great things about the staff at Gastonia Health & Rehab. The building looks amazing and very clean. The renovations have really made a home like environment. Everyone was very helpful from the housekeeping staff to upper management. I have never seen a DON and Administrator on the floor answering lights, but this is where you will find Christel & Shonda 9 times out of 10. Kudos to your staff.

I can't express enough how grateful my family and I are for the outstanding care my grandpa received at Gastonia Health and Rehab. From the moment he arrived, the staff treated him with the utmost kindness, compassion, and respect. The nurses and caregivers went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable, well-cared-for, and treated like family. They were attentive to his needs and always took the time to make sure he felt valued and supported. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and has a positive atmosphere, which made a big difference in his overall experience. The team at Gastonia Health and Rehab truly made a difficult time easier for our family, and we felt confident that my grandpa was in the best possible hands. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones. Thank you for everything!
