It was my first visit and I didn't examine the place high and low, but I got a great feeling about the attractive well maintained facility, the friendly and attentive staff, and the roomy layout of my friend's apartment. The residents I passed in the lobby and halls seemed friendly and happy which is a wonderful sign. I am impressed and reassured that he is well cared for and in a good place!

My mom has lived at Grand Victorian since around 2019, when it was still The Fountains. When she first moved in, she was completely independent. She had stopped driving, and one of the things we loved was knowing she would have plenty to do, people to see, and would never feel bored or isolated.<br><br>Moving from her home was not an easy decision. Like many families, we worried about things like blizzards, power outages, home maintenance, and all the everyday responsibilities that come with living alone. But Mom quickly came to love her new home. I still remember sitting in her apartment one evening when she suddenly turned off all the lights while I was still sitting there. I asked what she was doing, and she said she was heading down to the dining room! It made me laugh, but more than anything, it made me happy. She had somewhere to go, people to see, and a life of her own there.<br><br>As the years have passed, her needs have changed. In February 2026, we made the decision to increase her level of care, and she now receives additional assistance. I cannot say enough about Amy Dunn, the Director, and the entire team at Grand Victorian. Amy is incredible, and the staff truly goes above and beyond.<br><br>Life is never perfect, and no place is perfect, but what matters is having people who genuinely care and who work hard every day to do the very best for the residents they serve. That is what we have experienced at Grand Victorian. The care, compassion, responsiveness, and kindness shown to my mom have meant more to our family than I can put into words.<br><br>I also have to mention Kathy, who is one of my absolute favorites. She is wonderful!<br><br>If you love and worry about your parents as much as my sister and I love and worry about our mom—who, by the way, has absolutely no intention of moving in with either of us!—I can wholeheartedly recommend Grand Victorian. Knowing she is cared for, supported, and surrounded by people who know her has given us tremendous peace of mind.<br><br>Thank you, Amy Dunn, and the entire Grand Victorian team, for everything you do for Mom and for our family. We are truly grateful.

The staff could not be more helpful and inviting. It really feels like a community and not just a place to live. Rooms are spacious and clean. My mother was very pleased and impressed. Thank you for your hospitality!
