My mom stayed there for a month, and the doctors and staff were generally approachable. The facility was clean, and the food was good.

Over the past couple of years, my mom has also stayed at Parkwood and the Lodge at Bear Creek in Grapevine. Compared to those facilities, this one provided a better overall experience.

There were some areas that could be improved. Communication among staff was not always consistent. At times, one staff member or CNA would provide different information than another, which could be confusing for patients and families.

There were also occasions when requests for assistance were not answered promptly. In addition, I observed some staff members using their phones and appearing less attentive to patients. At times, it seemed that concerns were addressed more quickly when a family member was present and specifically advocated for the patient.

Transportation services were another area that could be improved. Scheduling transportation for medical appointments was not always easy or convenient, and availability appeared to be limited. As a result, I often had to transport my mom to her doctor appointments myself.

While there were some challenges with communication, responsiveness, and transportation services, the quality of healthcare and food were good. Overall, this facility provided a better experience than Parkwood and Bear Creek, and I appreciate the care my mom received during her stay.
