In 2021, I chose Forestdale Park for my father. He started in Traditional, then thrived in Compass until his peaceful, dignified passing. You will tour and research to learn that Forestdale seems impeccable, yet still doubt how your- or your loved one's uniqueness will fit, and naturally wonder what happens behind the scenes. I offer my summary of 4 years' experience at all hours, in every corner, from top to bottom: the place is special because Forestdale hires the best people-- kind-hearted, gifted professionals.

My father and I brought embarrassing challenges, but we were supported, guided, and educated without judgement by the awe-inspiring staff. Sure, there was employee turnover, but even newbies demonstrated human grace and professional skill with residents and families. Elder care is expensive, but my trust and confidence are invaluable. For the same price, I found no nearby ALF or nursing home compared to the compassion and quality of life at Forestdale Park.

My father and I spent his time here growing closer, and continuing to be our-weird-selves in comfort and safety. Forestdale provided what we needed, and I couldn't be more grateful.

PS-- their support group is a validating, educational, no-pressure resource open to all who care for someone with dementia.
