My husband went here so he can get his strength back. He wasn't there for 12 hours and fell. They didn't get to him for a few minutes, but once they did, he had to go back to the hospital to get 3 staples in his head.

I went to visit a family member, and was helped by a very kind employee named Rose (said she worked in kitchen), who showed me where I needed to go. Very welcoming and the facility was clean..

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Foothills Rehabilitation Center in Maryville, Tennessee. My mother has been a resident there, and our family has been incredibly impressed with the level of care, compassion, and professionalism she has received from everyone on staff.<br><br>From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel valued, respected, and genuinely cared for. They don’t simply treat her as a patient—they treat her like family. Every interaction is filled with kindness, patience, and empathy. Whether it’s the nursing staff, therapists, aides, dietary team, or administrative personnel, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure she feels comfortable, safe, and supported. It brings tremendous peace of mind knowing she is surrounded by people who truly care about her well-being.<br><br>One thing that stands out immediately about Foothills is how clean and well-maintained the facility is. The rooms, hallways, common areas, and dining spaces are consistently spotless and welcoming. I was so worried and stressed about sending my 63yo sister to a nursing facility after a 40 day hospital stay. The administration here is just amazing. It’s very clean and feels just like home! It’s worth her being 30 minutes away to be care for by the staff!

My mothers been at many nursing homes and this one was the most traumatic for her and the family. First off she didn't have a room phone, no internet access, no other way to contact me if there was a problem. She was showing signs of an infection from day 1 and I asked to get her evaluated asap. They kept giving us the run around for over a week on seeing a doctor that she never did end up seeing and then when I tried to get her help the lady threatened me with a sheriff and finally I said go ahead please get the sheriff just because I wanted her to get checked out and didn't want to wait any longer. I bought her an at home uti kit and the nurse fussed at me for not doing it right and I told her probably because I'm NOT THE NURSE and she still didn't get her tested. They gave me a sheet of numbers to call if there was a problem and it all went to the same person! So we ended up busting her out and taking her straight to Blount memorial emergency room and turned out she had severe sepsis and was very ill with organ failure due to the infection that had been festering. The facilities were nice, the food was bad but the staff in the kitchen were sweet. The rest was a nightmare. I would not recommend this place.
