Not too long ago, we left a detailed 5-star review because of how amazing this facility was, and a huge part of that was Tia in Admissions. She actually stayed on us about leaving a review, asking almost every time she saw us if we had done it yet. She treated our family with kindness, kept us informed, and always made herself available. Because of her and the experience we had, we felt comfortable bringing our loved one back.

Sadly, this time was completely different.

(We did a second tour because our mother had not seen the facility yet.) The person in Admissions who gave us the tour was rude, seemed like they did not want to be there, and made us feel like a burden instead of a family trusting them with someone we love.

After my father was admitted, our concerns grew. He called me multiple times throughout the night because no one was answering when he needed help. His medications were not given on time, his catheter overflowed onto the floor more than once, and he was sent to the hospital with a new cut on his leg that was not there before.

When we asked if a family member could stay overnight because we were worried, we were told it was “against the rules.” This left us questioning residents’ rights and a family’s ability to advocate for their loved one.

We are truly disappointed because we returned based on the positive experience we had before. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We can no longer recommend this facility and hope management takes these concerns seriously.

We want to clarify that mentioning Tia is not to put anyone down. We are only explaining why we originally gave such a positive review and why we felt comfortable returning.

I would highly recommend this facility for anyone seeking short term care for your family members. Keep in mind everyone's care will be different, and for those who insist on giving a bad review, need to express it was based on their own experience and not the entire facility. You also have to remember it is a rehab facility and everything is not going to be perfect on a daily basis. But, overall they were very knowledgeable and guided me and my daughter every step of the process, what to expect, what would be the outcome etc. They never lied to us, and I totally appreciated the honesty, which made the process even more flexible for my mother's needs. I would also like to give a special call out to Ms TaTa (housekeeping) who always made my mom laugh when she had a difficult moment. Also to all nurses, PT, etc. A warm thank you from Michelle Brooks and Paris Brooks and especially my mom Authorine Arriaga thank so very much.

I WISH I COULD LEAVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP!! ONCE AGAIN NOBODY CONTACTED MY FAMILY OR I Notifying THAT MY GRANDMA IS ONCE AGAIN IN THE HOSPITAL. NOW SHES BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL SINCE TUESDAY. WE'RE JUST NOW FINDING OUT TODAY ON A FRIDAY. THE COMMUNICATION WITH THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE AS HELL. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT MY GRANDMA AT ALL. IF THEY DID THE WOULD DO WHATS RIGHT AND AT LEAST COMMUNICATE WITH HER FAMILY FOR HER NEEDS. STAFF DOESNT CARE ABOUT ANYBODY BUT THEMSELVES AND THE MONEY.
